WHEN YOU JUST HAVE TO HOSE IT OFF...!
Continental red rubber hose is just the best hose you can buy. When I found Continental I saw the durability of this hose and just knew that this would be the last hose I would ever need.. I have it at my home, my summer home, and the beach house.. Every where I need a hose I buy Continental and I know I can depend on Continental to be the last hose I will ever have to buy... If you need a tuff all around hose, this should be your choice of hose because as soon as you get it in your hand and charge the line you will know what I been saying to be true...

Solid made red rubber hose.
First off don't believe any of those one star reviews. This hose is VERY heavy duty and it weighs 30 lbs so you will need mussel to move itaround. The ends are solid brass with stainless steel clamp bands holding them on. This hose is the ultimate commercial contractor grade hoseI have seen in years. I have yet to be able to kink it.

Hose is worth price.
A hose worth every cent. Passed a five pass freeze-thaw test where I rereeled and unreeled between each step rotating the hose 90 or 270 degrees to stress the reinforcement. It's beautiful to boot. The best "garden hose" functionally and cosmetically that I have owned as a combination of attributes or on a sole descriptor. After my functional testing I am confident I will get a ten year service life. Flexibility is good and can be installed on hose reels without a reinforcement inner spring to stave off kinking. Like any truly useful hose it is not "idiot kinkproof" but a usefully consistent inner diameter hose under duress or siphoning pressures that can be kinked a seemingly infinite number of times in a particular spot in any possible way and when you straighten it back out the entire hose behaves like new (not particularly kink prone anywhere).*Hose made in the United States.*Brass fitting has stickers stating "fitting made in China". The contact edges of the male piece as deburred quite nicely and will never cut through a rubber gasket under any hand tightening. Contact surfaces are square inside and out.*No clue for final assembly.

Not good. I will fix it
Update 1/8/2017: I am raising this review to three stars based on the quality of rubber in the hose. It is a bit heavy, but very pliable rubber. It will kink if you do not pay attention when stretching the hose out after putting it on a reel, but every hose will do that. Overall, once I corrected the initial leak around the end fitting by replacing the factory hose clamp, I have been satisfied with the hose and, with proper care, expect it to last a very long time.Original review at time of purchase:A $100 hose that immediately leaked around the end fitting and not just a little....a lot. Not good. I will fix it, but I shouldn't have had to.

Very Sturdy
This hose is heavy-duty. It is heavy (as in weight), which tells me it is durable. Very solid fittings, I suspect they would withstand getting run over by the lawn mower but I have not tested that theory. Yet. It sealed to the faucet nicely. No spraying from the connection as my last hose did. It took some time to get it unwound straight out of the box, I kept getting it coiled. That was me doing it by myself. With a little practice twisting it the right way I was successful and proceeded to happily water my thirsty garden.

Hose kinks
The hose is heavy and it is very difficult to wrap, almost impossible. It constantly kinks and certainly not worth the hefty price tag..

Not a Goodyear hose
I bought a couple of really great Goodyear hoses at the Fair several years ago that have never kinked on me. I still have them, and they work perfectly. I was told that this was the same company that makes them since I can no longer get them at the Fair. Well, this hose is not it. Same orange color, but that’s it. It’s a good hose, but not worth $150.

NICE HOSE
This is the hose to buy if youre looking for something heavy duty, durable, and long lasting. I bought that flexzilla hose that has the amazon's choice tag and that thing is a piece of junk. This hose can be used both commercially and at the home. It is pretty heavy and not the easiest to maneuver so take that into consideration before buying.Overall, i will not be buying another hose besides this one ever again.
