Moisture is removed from the wood, and the material becomes lighter, stiffer and more stable. The color becomes a deeper golden brown, and the grain has more dramatic figure. Each wood cell is opened and the resins within the wood dried, producing a better sounding material. Roasting makes the wood more resonant and responsive. The feel of oiled and waxed wood is improved, as it becomes less affected by moisture. The stainless steel frets are harder and corrosion resistant. This material resists wear far beyond traditional Nickel Silver and has a smoother feel.Neodymium Magnet Humbucker with an 18-Volt PreampNeodymium magnets are stronger than Alnico or ceramic magnets of comparable size and weight. The increased strength of the magnetic field applies to guitar pickups in making them more sensitive and higher output. The higher output requires less gain, which means lower noise. The 18-volt 3-Band preamp provides extra clean headroom without clipping and less distortion.
