After 1 year
At first this was a great curler. After 1 year it is not so good. The tension is gone and for fine hair it is not so good. If you plan to have it for a few years find some other one. It burns easily as well and the barrel turns brown.

Flaky orange paint in my hair doesn't compliment my curls...
Love how well this item works. However, I bought it to replace one that I had for 3 years because the orange paint had begun to flake off into my hair. I thought, oh well, I've had this for a few years, I guess it's time for a new one. The one I bought just a month and a half ago has begun to flake also. SO disappointed, I guess it's a quality issue after all. Sending back for a refund, I'll update after I hear back from the seller.

Not a fan of the metal stand bar nor where ...
Not a fan of the metal stand bar nor where the heat higher / lower switch is (on the side). Tend to touch it unintentionally. Ok product for the heat and curl though.

Love the Heat
This curling iron is so hot...literally. It heats to 450 and it heats quickly. I have fine, thin hair that loses curl easily, and this iron doesn't let me down. Love that it comes with a travel bag as well. This is the second Brazilian Heat I have purchased. Unfortunately the spring always breaks. I like the fact that you can lock the heat in so you don't knock it off with your hand. That is a must for me with any iron. I definitely recommend this iron.

Love this curling iron
Love this curling iron. My friend bought me one like this years ago but I fried it in Europe (didn't pay attention to voltage differences.) I was sooo happy to find a replacement on Amazon and it was cheaper than what I paid back then.Just get a surge protector if you take it to Europe. :)

Great curling iron!
This curling iron is great! It heats up quickly, has a very long cord so you don't need to stand on the sink to use it, and it doesn't singe your hair! OH - and it also provides great holding curls with little to no product and my hair in pretty heavy and straight naturally. Would definitely recommend if you're on the market.

Worked well
It worked well, but the price was too high. I live in a small town and don't have acess to many stores.
