Worked great for gaps in vinyl plank floor!
Bought this because it is cast metal, not plastic. Great suction. Could really pound on it to close gaps and I'd didn't come off. Excellent quality! Easy to use. Super value!

Works awesome, after I figured out the trick!
Out of the package this product did not work for me. It didn’t have any suction at all. But after I read through a bunch of reviews, some wonderful human being had noted a trick that if the floor had any kind of grooves in it, even super tiny ones, the suction would not work. They were able to put a damp paper towel under the suction cups and made it work. I will second the suggestion and the tool worked perfectly as long as I did the wet paper towel trick. Just to note when I hit it with a metal hammer I dented the plastic pretty badly. You will want to use a rubber mallet instead of a metal hammer on this plastic tool.

Kimigirl review- not bad for small quick fix
This worked, but it also had issues. I have luxury vinyl planking that had some separations. It took a few tries to get it to stay on the flooring and when it did, I was able to close the gaps. So far my planks have not separated again. Good fix for the cost if you want to look at it that way. :)

Amazing
Did an amazing job. We had some places in our locking floor that was coming apart for one reason or another. This thing suctioned so strongly to the floor, combined with a rubber mallet and it sealed up all the places I had gaps within a few minutes

Works as advertised
I’ve had gaps in my vinyl plank flooring that were getting worse as time went on. Found this tool on Amazon and decided to give it a try. I do have some texture in my flooring, so wasn’t sure if it would adhere after reading reviews. It worked just fine. After a few hits with a mallot, it did move slightly. But I kept hitting it and the planks still moved into place. I’m happy I decided to try this tool. The gaps had been driving me crazy.

Zip Grip
If the surface is not pristinely smooth it won't work.Got this to try and fix some LVP gaps. I have better suction cups for the Christmas stockings.

used to fix flooring
I used this to fix gaps between the ends of boards on a laminate floating floor. Fixed about 10 gaps from previous owner. It stuck well to the floor even though the boards were not completely smooth. Heavy duty so hitting it with a rubber mallet didn't hurt a thing.

Doesn't work on vinyl
Works on glass, wood, and flat countertops.Doesn't work on vinyl floor. Probably due texturing in the floor, but it can't get suction at all.
