Test the lights before installation as all the LED's may not function
These lights mount a little differently than the stock DD51T tail lights. It does not have the mounting bolt recesses molded into the plastic rear housing of the new lights. So you have to decide whether you are satisfied with the light not fitting flush with the body as the stock light does. I was not satisfied the way they fit so I had to cut off the metal mounting tabs on the body, and then manufacture a simple mounting bracket out of some steel in order to get the lights properly fitting into the recessed light openings. Secondly, test all the light functions prior to installation. On my lights, one whole set of the Red LED lights did not function in the tail light mode, and on the other set 3 out of the dozen red LED's would not illuminate in any function (tail or stop light). I guess they don't test these lights prior to shipping the product to the customer. After having to supply photos of the non working nature of the lights, the supplier was kind enough to refund my money (but then I had to pay for the return shipping all the way to the Philippines).
