Capri Tools Professional 1/8 in. Letter and Number Stamp Set, 36-Piece

I am a machinist and I have been looking for a good stamp set for aluminum and steel. This set is awesome. It is very well made. The letters are properly aligned to the punch body unlike some sets. The punches are straight and close tolerance on shank size. The stamping is very crisp. These are a great bargain especially compared to some more expensive US brands such as Hansen. The Hansen characters are poorly aligned and there is variation in shank dimensions. This product is far superior at less than half the price. I should note that this is made in Taiwan, not mainland China. Buy it!

I bought these to stamp codes onto brass keys and they work great. The stamps are well made, came with a light coating of oil to prevent rust, and are squarely cut. They fit my HPC SA-7 alignment tool perfectly -- something that I was really hoping for. I used a light tap with a 3 lb hammer to do test stamping and each letter was clear and perfectly formed. I wasn't sure how these would pan out, but figured I'd try them before spending $60-$80 on a set of HPC or Young Bros. stamps. I'm glad I did; I have no need to purchase a more expensive set as these fit my needs.

Pros:-Easy to read, clearly marked to know which face to point at you.-Makes clean and easy to read marks-Looks very niceCons:-The letters and numbers come in two separate plastic containers with no space in-between stamps. So ill probably end up making my own container for them.

These letter stamps worked well on 12L14 steel. This is a mild steel but steel no the less. The impressions left on the steel were clear and sharp, and not much metal moved to the sides. The only reasons for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the numbers are slightly larger than 1/8". I was uncertain as to weather I should get the 1/8" or 3/16", I am glad that I chose the smaller of the two. Good product, obvious quality.

Easy to use and priced correctly.

This stamp set was purchased to mark keys to match with padlocks. The 1/8" size is perfect for stamping letters and/or numbers on key blanks. The impressions are sharp and very readable.

very high quality feel, and love the indicator's, cheaper versions lack marking's on the side which makes orientation difficult. This product nails all the details. A+

Nicely set up in two boxes to keep items separate. Good quality and finish is excellent.
