Cut-Rite Wax Paper Sandwich Bags, 50-Count (Pack of 12)

We grew up with Cut-Rite waxed paper and sandwich bags but they have all but disappeared in the local grocery stores, but now that Reynolds owns them, maybe that'll change. In the meantime, these work out to $2.68 per box of 50, or three cents a bag, so not a bad price if you're an Amazon Prime Member - otherwise you might want to buy 24 boxes (2 Packs) to get the free shipping. We use these primarily for stacking hamburger patties for the freezer. They are thicker than wax paper squares so you can easily separate the frozen patties, and the frozen patties cook frozen perfectly (as commercial cooks do.) Now the bags are LARGER, too, so a big sandwich fits in nicely. AND wax paper is harmless to the environment (unlike PLASTIC) so PLEASE use wax paper when you can!

This cartoon contains 12 boxes of 50-count wax sandwich bags. So, you can keep an individual bag in your drawer and the rest of the carton in the garage until you need another bag. Amazon no longer sells this item. Another distributor sells a carton of these bags but they are NOT individual boxes inside the carton so there is no good way to store them or use them. I wish Amazon would provide this item again! Grocery stores are not providing them and $14 for a box of 50 is way, way too expensive.

I am delighted to be using the Cut-Rite wax paper sandwich bags. I had been searching to find wax paper sandwich bags and could never locate them in local stores so I searched on-ine but didn't want to order thousands of them for home use. When I received the notice from Amazon that the Cut-Rite bags were available, I read the dscription and ordered the product.The bags are just what I have been looking for and I use them everyday. I have shared them with family and hope they find them as useful as I have.

These wax paper baggies are nice and roomy and will accommodate large sandwiches.I was surprised that most of the boxes were not sealed on at least one of the ends. Notsure if it was poor glue or a poor process, but the bags are great.

Love these eco-friendly wax bags! My kids school composts as much as possible. They have asked parents to use wax bags and reusable containers as much as possible to limit lunch waste. The local groceries don't seem to carry wax bags consistently so I ordered a case. We use them all the time--and we always have more on hand!

These work very well for dry storage but get surprisingly soggy and disintegrate with anything remotely wet (strawberries, peanut butter sandwich, or near an ice pack...for example). They so tear much easier than plain wax paper, but are a great size and better for the environment than plastic.

I used these bags years ago and then suddenly could not find them in the grocery or big box stores. Then I found them on Amazon, albeit in a quantity that will last me a looooooong time. Love these bags for sandwiches in my husband's lunch!

Great replacement for plastic bags. The larger size is great! I had a box of these for years and used them for special things as I feared not finding anymore. Now I have a case!!!
