Overstone Men’s 4'' Steel Toe Athletic Shoes, Work Safety Sneakers, Lightweight Industrial & Construction Shoe

Looked around for some comfortable looking shoes that would also provide some very big protection for my boyfriend to wear daily at his roofing jobs. His never been a big fan of boots so I was super excited to find these. They have all the looks of regular shoes with the added steel toe as well as puncture proof insoles to do the dirty you would expect from work boots. He LOVES them! Not only are they comfortable they work exactly like they said protecting his feet from nails from the tear off of the old roofs at work. The steel toes are great for just in case some heavy equipment is dropped on the foot or something, and the slip resistance helps greatly with gripping on roofs. He says they are so comfortable and the insoles (massage molded foot bed) make it even more comfy. You can feel the bumps on the sole if you put your hand on the inside of the shoe. Roofing seems to take a toll on shoes quickly because all of the stuff they tend to walk on so I hope these last him quite a while but even if they don't last too terribly long they are such a great price I know we can just order new ones when these start getting worn out. Very happy.

When the shoes arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The shoes are well made, very light (despite the steel toe), and SUPER comfortable. The cushioning inside makes me feel like I'm walking on a cloud. They're airy and don't make my feet feel like they're sweating. The steel toe takes some getting used to so make sure you order half a size smaller. I usually wear a 10 or 10.5 and the 9.5 of this shoe fits me like a glove. It's a sport shoe, very much like a sneaker so be prepared to have a little more bounce in your step. LOVE these, might get them in blue now. Thank you.

I bought these shoes after reading the reviews available to be shown on amazon and 1 review did catch my eye which the person had stated that the material on the outside had started tearing quite soon after they had bought the shoes...I should have gone with what that person had said in their review instead of everyone else’s comments on the comfort and price for which you pay for the product...nonetheless. I do find them comfortable (after adding my own dr. scholls insoles, since I walk 8 hours a day @my job) & yes the price is quite reasonable, when you take the time to look around at other offerings of similar products but yes, when you see & realize that the material on the outer shell of the shoe is nothing more then sheer netting material (like a stocking), you can only hope that your job only requires you to walk or move around slightly during your workday and not as much as me or the other person whose shoes began ripping very soon after they were received...it did take me awhile before I decided to write this review after buying these shoes (about 6 or 7 weeks) only because I work a lot lately as an in-store shopper at costco for instacart and have been kept busy but now I just wanted to make sure people know they are comfortable and if you don’t mind the tearing and fraying that comes from that then yes buy them but I don’t know if this happens on all of them because it only happened on 1 side of 1 shoe for me(right shoe, inside upper area right by the big toe)...hope that is helpful for someone else in the future...thanks!

Bought these for my son for Back to School in August. He wore only to school- not for sports or work. The fabric of the shoe is so flimsy, holes started to appear over the steel toe cap within a month and by 2 months, you could see the steel toe cap peeking through. The rest of the shoe - soles, insoles, etc, held up fine, but the thin fabric over the toe cap does not work with this design.

These where my favorite work shoes. but I noticed after maybe a month of wearing them, whatever they use to hold the "steel toe" in, was coming apart and would pole or stab me in the top of my foot. Never dropped anything on them, never rough work. I clean for a living, just like to wear steel toes for that "what if" moments. Hope they resolve this issue.

The OVERSTONE Steel Toed shoes, are absolutely excellent. They fit quite well and are quite comfortable. I normally wear steel toed leather boots when I work in my yard, but due to a foot issue, requiring surgery, my boots became too painful to wear. These are a quality built shoe, priced right, and I don't have the pain in my feet.

Fantastic price for a work shoes. Not too heavy with a Very different footbed with multiple points of padding. Got 2 pairs to alternate if get wet. Used during laying pavers 55 hrs per week. Don't expect to last more than 8 weeks and I'll be happy.

You can feel the weight of the steel toe but compared to any steel toe boot it is as light as a feather. If the protection is needed but you like the flexibility of sneaker than these are great shoes.
