This grape seed extract is very efficient in that a little is very powerful however that goes for taste too. It is not unflavored like the listing says. It tastes like slightly burnt muddy chalk, kind of coppery, and very unpleasant. I add it to white grape juice, orange juice without pulp, and have found that the flavor of fruit or mild citrus really helps the chalky copper flavor. You do not need a lot of the drink because you are taking a small amount of the supplement so a half cup to a cup of whatever drink is enough. I really like the True Orange and True Grapefruit packets to go along with this product. I'm betting the True Lemon with this would be a winner but I haven't tried that one. A bit of sugar would make it slightly more palatable. A word of caution, the powder does tend to clump when wet and any shaker bottle, spoons, or cloth it comes into contact with will be stained a deep red. Either use stainless steel and hand wash with dish soap or just shake it in disposable bottles and assume they will be stained inside. I've been using spring water bottles that come in a big pack and they work great with the True Orange packets for this product. 10/10 Will definitely buy again.

I use Grape Seed Extract in both my pre-workout and my lunchtime "concoctions". My research has shown that this product may help cardiovascular, improving both circulation and lowering cholesterol. It has anti-oxidants which may help skin damage and it can also reduce pms symptoms. The flavor is a bit bracing, reminds me of what ground up tree bark would taste like. Recommend mixing it with a fruit juice. Most of the bulk supplement products I am including in my mixes are very tart/bitter. I take it like a man though and just mix with water, pinch up my face and then wash it down quickly with a glass of water. After what came before, a glass of regular water never tasted so sweet... :-)Bulk supplement products are always high quality and shipping is always fast.A serving size is tiny and based on recommendations from other reviewers for other bulk supplement products, I ended up purchasing the American Weigh Scales GEMINI-20 Portable MilliGram Scale, 20 by 0.001. I also purchased the Norpro 3080 Mini Stainless Steel Measuring Spoons which includes ( tad, dash, pinch, smidgen and a drop ). The recommended serving size is 200mg, but based on a review by Stephen Cabot (who has written numerous excellent reviews of bulk supplement products and subsequently got me hooked on bulk supplements) his recommendation is 350mg for pre-workout and 150mg for lunch. The 350mg serving size comes out to a "tad" and the 150mg serving size comes out to a "pinch".

I will concede that I got a sample from BulkSupplements for reviewing this. They have great service and have a plethora of supplements to choose from. While others may like it and while it may be a benefit to the supplements, I actually don't really like these being in a foil-like zip lock type of container. Small containers with a screw-on cap work a little better for me, especially if you get these in the 10-25g or other small size containers. The 250-500g containers I have no issues with now as the powder is still close to the top. Aside from this, BulkSupplements is great and there are so many great supplements that you can get from them and not from other competitors. I have ordered Milk thistle, Coq10, R-ALA, ALCAR, L-Citruilline, L-Norvaline, Rhodiola Rosea, Creatine, L-Glutamine, L-Tyrosine, DMAE, LongJack, and BCAA from BulkSupplements and I am pleased with each. Using supplements mostly from BulkSupplements and LiftMode have greatly improved my mood, energy levels, stress levels, clarity of mind, and overall health.As for grape seed extract, you should research this. I have read some articles that said it contains reservatrol while several others state that it does not contain it and only grape skin extract does. Regardless, there are many benefits of grape seed extract, both as a flavonoid as well as to promote overall good health. I like to pair this with quercetin and read several articles (some by doctors) promoting the benefits of using this with quercetin.As for cons, may only dislike with grape seed extract is how very potent the powder really is. It is very strong smelling. For those with hay fever, asthma, or other allergies, you may want to use a dust mask while capping this. Once capped, I put these in a zip lock back. I also put the foil-like zip-lock inside a regular zip-lock to keep the smell out. It's not stinky, just a strong smell. I thought about docking 1 star for this, but then realized that many others may not have an issue at all with this and it is also just the way it is.
