Designline 36 in. Stainless Steel Linear Shower Drain Tile-in Grate

I like how rigid this drain is. I was putting in the mortar bed and I was never worried about bending or warping it. We started with the stainless steel showing but after tiling was done we decided to tile the drain as well. It was as simple as flipping the insert over, adding thinset, tile, then grout just like the floor. It turned out great.

We love our drain! It does clog with hair every week or two, but the key makes it easy to access and empty the driain catch.

We recently remodeled our master bath and in all my research this was listed in an article as one of those must have perks. It is absolutely beautiful and worth the extra expense. Our contractor did the tile in, so I’m not sure how difficult it was to do, but he didn’t complain.
