First it makes great coffee without question. The gotcha when you go to drain it to the tank it can be time-consuming. I say this as I found it takes 2 -3 time of dumping letting it sit for 5 mins before the coffee finally finished draining from the grinds.It is stout my son dropped it yesterday when he knocked it over in the icebox it bounced and did not break. however, the ball bearing popped out and it drains to the bottom. not a huge deal we opened it all up and put the bearing back in place.Some people talk about adding water as it is strong. That is what I like since I am typically making a sweet cream cold brew. This one and the Takeya 2qt both do really well at cold brew. This one is a little easier to clean as I can get my big hand in the mesh area. the Takeya i have to spray and try to catch the grinds before they make it to the sink.

Decided to try a cold brew coffee maker that I could travel with if needed. I was surprised at the quality of the product. This coffeemaker is well made and is simple to use. The main advantage over others I have used is the metal filter that does an excellent job of keeping the coffee grounds out of the brew. After taking the brew out of the fridge 12 hours later (can be less) the taste is fresh and not bitter. The vacuum seal does provide you with fresh cold coffee and the container keeps your coffee cold even in the heat of the day.Construction quality is excellent and after 2 weeks of everyday use It still functions perfectly.

I bought this to complement the black one I bought since it makes brilliantly good tasting cold brew coffee, and I like having a second batch preparing while I'm drinking the first. The addition of the pour spout top was a great boon, I'm sorry that they don't still offer this. I bought this same set (without the spout top) for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. This is is awesome! You put coffee in the filter and set it. Super simple. Push the button when you’re ready and the coffee pours into the container. You can either put a cover on and take it or you can use the handle cover to pour as needed. Only complaint was I wish this thing held more coffee!

I'm currently deployed and being from New England ice coffee runs in my veins all year round! I needed something compact that didn't need much maintenance, and this was it! I love this thing! I was nervous that this product did not come with the travel lid but I found it hiding with the filter when I unboxed it! I never write reviews, but this product definitely deserves 5 stars!

Great product. Leave it at work overnight and I have cold brew waiting for me in the morning. Currently in a rough/austere environment and appreciate the durability of this brewer. Only downside is the pour handle/lid doesn’t attach smoothly or securely causing some of the sweet nectar of the gods to be spilled. Now only using with the standard cap which works great.

It has more than novelty going for it. I can take the growler to work, set a new batch to steep when I get home from work and I have more than enough for the day. So easy to keep coffee on hand by making it ahead of time
