I had no idea that cold-soluble Gelatin was a thing that existed... and it is so extremely cool.My wife and I were playing with some Molecular Gastronomy from this cookbook, Molecular Gastronomy by Molecule-R: An Introduction to the Science Behind 40 Spectacular Recipes , which we had gotten from our local library. While we realized how important different textures are to a meal (Gel+Gel=Somewhat Peculiar), we also did have a good bit of fun playing with our food.Cold-Soluble gelatin truly is a game-changer. It dissolves easily in almost any liquid and sets very quickly. We used ours to make a tomato juice gel, which we stuffed with herbed ricotta... odd, but delicious!

This is great for Jell-O shot cocktails
Heat can destroy the delicate aromas and flavors of any edible, espuma or cream. This product keeps that from happening. Dissolve time takes longer, but it’s worth it. This is great for Jell-O shot cocktails. Make your own flavors. Add some spirits, mix everything and dissolve the cold soluble gelatin before molding

Guess I'm use to using Knox. I had to hunt all over the Internet to find out if I could add it to hot jello. I would only buy it again if I can't find Knox, which, right now is very hard to find. Plus, it's a little expensive for what I was using it for. It did set up nicely though. And to me, it has an after taste.

Enjoying the cold soluble gel in my gluten free baking. What a wonderful product that one can dissolve in cool liquids. It works great!

I love the product, since it is so easy to use in cold liquids. It dissolves perfectly.However, I tried the Ethereal Goat Cheese Panna Cotta using the recipe from your webaite. The 15 gm instagel was not enough to set the panna cotta. I did weigh and use it. Will try again.
