Yes if the awning has a Somfy RTS motor installed in it. If another brand motor is used then no.

Q: Will this work with a Dooya moter?

No, this will only work with a Somfy or Simu RTS motor.

Q: Any way to make this work with a contact closure ? So it can then work with any home automation system?

You can add it to a automation system through a couple different devices. I have used the Urtsi to interface with the RTs systems. What automation system are you trying to add this to?

9012500 is a sun and wind sensor. 9012499 is a wind sensor only.
