Smelly Washer 216 Dishwasher and Disposal Cleaner, 48 Treatments, (2 - 12 oz. Bottles)

I was a bit skeptical about this product, but after reading lots of reviews, I gave it a try. My dishwasher STUNK! Not just once in awhile either, but pretty much most of the time. Once a week or so I would run an empty load with just bowl of white vinegar and lemon juice in it to help disinfect and take away the stink, but within just 2 or 3 days the stink would come back.I bought this stuff on a whim and figured it wasn't all that expensive, so I might as well give it a try and it worked better than I expected. It's been about a month since I've used it and so far the stink has not come back. I will add, that when I did use it the first (and only) time I used about twice as much as the directions instructed just because I had gotten a little bit confused as to where I was actually supposed to put the powder and when I released it was just easier to add extra powder than fix my mistake.

Even though my dishwasher is less than a year old it was developing a white film in it and at the same time a moldy, musty smell would emit unless I left the door open after each use. Since I had previously tried Smelly Washer and it worked so well I thought I would try their co-product Smelly Dishwasher & Disposal Cleaner.They came through again....can't believe these products! After just one use the white film is gone and as well, the dishes are spotless. Best of all the after-use odor has stopped. I can again close my dishwasher after emptying. I now use a little bit of this Smelly Dishwasher every time I use the dishwasher.My disposal really didn't smell but had to try this in it. I followed the directions and with the last step threw in a few ice cubes while the disposal was running. It is comforting knowing the disposal is clean, fresh and void of any germ buildup.I highly recommend Smelly Dishwasher and Disposal Cleaner.

Received my bottle but the instructions made no sense as they were for a washing machine, not a dishwasher.I called their help desk 952 465 6444 and the gentleman on the other end was a WEALTH OF INFORMATION about how to get my dishes cleaner and how to deal with dishwasher, disposal and washing machine cleaning and smell issues.I got my money's worth just in information before I ever used their product!It turns out they had some misprinted labels that they thought were all taken care of but it turned out to be fortunate in our case.BTW you use one capful divided into 3: 1/3 into each dispenser container and the floor of the dishwasherSo far have used the product with great success in the DW, next comes the front loading washing machine

I have a automatic dishwasher that is at least 10 years old. It came with the house so it is probably 12 years old or older.I have had problems with soap build up while running the dishwasher to the point that it has broke the seal and come out of the sides of the door. The result was a sudsy floor and residue remaining on the interior and door of the dishwasher. The dishwasher also had a bit of an odor from it. I have run bleach, vinegar, and just plain hot water through it but the residue and odor remained.I ran one cycle of Smelly Dishwasher and it took the residue and odor right out. The interior looks brand new - absolutely no soap residue remains.Works better than what I thought it would. Would recommend this to my family and friends.

No matter what I do, my dishwasher always seems to smell a bit funky. And I've tried many different products to keep its inside clean and odor free, including expensive products and old-fashioned home solutions such as white vinegar. Another thing that I like about this product is that you get 24 treatments out of a single bottle. It works quite well and doesn't cost a fortune, so it is my current dishwasher cleaner of choice.

I couldn't believe how fresh my dishwasher smelled and how sparkly it was on the inside after using this just one time. It even reached the slimy area inside at the bottom of the door and at the corner edges where previously I always had to hand scrub. This cleaned and freshened my dishwasher every bit as good, if not better, as the stuff I was paying $6.00 for (that's $6.00 for only one use!).Because this worked so well, next I'm going to try the Smelly product for towels.

This product does the job, but it takes about twice as much as they say and it works slightly less effectively as other commercial products. That being said, it's nice to use something made in the US and less toxic.

We have a container of fresh cut onions. When we finished the onions and put the container in the dishwasher. After cleaning the container in the dishwasher, the dishwasher smelled like onions. We threw away the container and thought we were stuck with a smelly dishwasher. This dishwasher cleaner saved us a lot of headache. We now use it once a month.
