Very lightweight, comfortable, and cool. Its not cotton so it doesn't absorb sweat. It keeps the sun off of my face and that is what I am after. The brim is not rigid and gets most of its shape from a barely noticeable hoop in the outside banding. So it is crush-able, but it won't fully return to the factory shape once crushed or mangled if that is a concern. This is my second one. The first had chili oil spilled all over it and I couldn't get the stain out. I still use the original when working in the backyard.

The size on the label may say large but, the hats very greatly when labeled a particular SIZE. We ordered 3 more of the same style hats and the same part # and they are all different sizes.They give you foam tape to adjust (take up space in the inside rim) not a great fix over time it brakes down. The best way to buy these hats are in a store or Amazon. Beware It can harder and more expensive to RETURN them to other sellers including company store.DON’T GET ME WRONG I LOVE THESE HATS when I can get one that FITS.Not as HAPPY as I would like to be.

Love the hat matches my husband . The only problem was trying to fix the shape of it. It was smashed completely out of shape . I’ve ironed it and it still flops up on one side and is mis- shaped but I have to wear a hat because of protection from the sun

Nice hat but too tight. Make sure to ordered a size larger if available.

Great hat for travel. Provides the right amount of protection and is easy to pack! My husband saw this in an expensive tourist shop, so we were glad to find it for a better price here on Amazon.
