Ikea Rug Underlay Pad with Anti Slip Carpet Stopp Filt 6 X 8' Felt Underlayment

My cats are fond of running across the living room, careening around the corner where a throw rug sits and flying up the stairs--all of which leaves any throw rug in the vicinity curled up in a mess. No more. Ha Ha. The little guys can do as they like and the rugs stay in place. I have carefully checked my real wood floors. No stickum comes off. I wish everything else I buy worked as well. I am buying more....there are other places where my kitties are going to soon find they can't use the throw rugs as sleds any longer.

It pads nicely for a good while, but eventually it looses whatever stay-in-place grip on tile it had at the start. Still better than most products on hardwood because it doesn't leave any gummy residue on the floor.

Definitely works to keep the rugs in place but so thin it can hardly be described as a pad. If my rugs were more expensive I would still be looking for another option.

As far as a rub pad goes, this does the job. It is exactly as advertised. I have found that it is a little "stickier" than others so while the rug stays in place, the pad does tend to stick to itself from time to time if in an area with high traffic. I would purchase again, but only in a smaller size.

This really does keep the rug from slipping. It still can move a bit when my dog runs like a mad man up and down the hall, but it keeps the rug from moving so much that the sides into the wall.Very happy with it - on my laminate floors

Needed something really thin and this did the trick. If you need actual padding there are others on here that will be a better choice.

It's just a huge peice of felt. It works, but it's nothing impressive. Great for the price, I guess.
