Good for the price
This is a good beginner holster, especially for the price. A little bit of customizing helps a lot.Pros:+Very cheap, perfect for someone looking to try shoulder carry before committing a couple hundred bucks.+Fits me comfortably at 6'0" 350lbs+Very universal, you can easily set this thing up however you want for pretty much any pistol.+No more fiddling with mags, belt, holster, and gun before leaving the house, just throw this on and put a coat on.+More comfortable to carry IMO, and you don't even notice the 2 extra mags you bring with.Cons:-Draw is significantly slower than hip carry and requires retraining.-Much harder to defend from a physical attack while drawing and from the shoulder and presenting.-Harness doesn't really support the weapon well enough to adjust cant-The retention is inconsistent because it is universal. Sometimes my rear sights snag really hard in the holster.-The tie down straps are not removable so you either have to find a way to secure them or cut them off if you don't want to use them.-Saying it is Law Enforcement grade is a joke. LE would buy a nice leather holster for over $100, custom made for their pistol model.Tips:I tried conventional thumb snap and I found it was less consistent and took a bit longer to draw. I modified the thumb break a bit with a tiny bit of kydex and some glue (but anything stiff will work). Now I have a stiff "extension" on my snap like you normally see on a snap holster. I also flipped the snap to the outside of the weapon. Now when I place my hand on the butt of the weapon it automatically unsnaps and is ready to draw. No more trying to hit the snap with your thumb before drawing. I found that this change and modification easily doubled my draw speed. Hopefully this helps someone else out.

Outstanding product for the money!
First of all. I want to say I was a little sceptical due to the price and previous reviews. It arrived today, I'm 6'6" and I was able to adjust the fit within about 10 minutes. It fits my Beretta PX4 Storm (full size) perfectly. Nice and snug around the trigger guard and a little extra room at the end of the muzzle. The way the release is designed. You can use either one or two snaps to secure the weapon depending on your comfort for easy release. The snaps are also on velcro straps that are reversible depending on which side is comfortable for release. As far as the kant of the holster. It's completely adjustable. A BIG plus!! This allows you to carry in a more vertical position, without flagging your weapon from behind.Another BIG plus is the ability to change the holster to either side using the quick release latches. This makes this shoulder strap completely universal for lefties or righties.Lastly. I want to speak to how well made the overall product is. The stitching, snaps, velcro, and material seem to be of high quality. This product appears to be able to last. Only time will tell, but I've been impressed from the moment I opened the package.I would recommend this product to anyone!

Not a concealment holster - very bulky
I’m 5’ 10” and 195 lbs with more of a bulky build. Regardless of how I adjusted the straps, the shoulder pads fit weird and were uncomfortable/bulky. The holster is designed for the firearm to be be horizontal or flat, the problem with that is it’s impossible to conceal. Regardless of how bulky the jacket I wore(I tried on 4 different jackets), you could easily tell I was carrying. This may work for some individuals, but definitely not for me. I don’t imagine the holster will last very long either. It’s held together by two small elastic straps which are known to wear out and break in fairly short periods of time.

Awesome shoulder rig. Holds my pants up too! :)
I have a small butt so I constantly fight having my pants droop..even with a tight belt. This rig does double duty since it helps hold my pants up!I have a G-19 with a G-17 mag and spacer for my XL hand. I have an XL body too at 6'4" and 230. The rig fits me fine. My G-19 has a blocky Viridian C5-L laser/light combo which I bought here on Amazon. I bought a seam ripper too. I used it to pop about 4 or 5 stitches on the holster, and now my G-19 WITH the Viridian fits perfectly. I may have a seamstress reinforce that area at some point. But for now, it works just fine just the way it is. If you run a really large light, then you can still use this rig. But you will want to have a seamstress do some mods to the holster. What ever the cost to modify the rig, it would be worth doing. I am convinced.UTG should do what some other companies do. They cut and make a holster to fit a gun with a light. Then they add in stitching to block off that area so a gun with no light will fit properly. If you always run a light, then just pop that seam portion and you have a perfect fit. No need for any additional seam work. Kangaroo Carry does this with their holsters.I bought an Uncle Mikes handcuff pouch that fits their shoulder holster. The pouch fits this UTG rig just fine under the mag pouch. I use one of the two spare mag pouches for a can of pepper spray and a long after-market hand cuff key/tool.If it last even 9mos to a year I would just immediately buy another one. I like it that much. The hook and loop (Velcro is a BRAND name) is plenty strong. It should last a year or two. This is not a lifetime purchase. But it should function at 100% for quite some time.

WELL WORTH THE MONEY-SURPRISINGLY GOOD
I purchased this rig jst to see what i would get for the price. I was extremely pleased with the product. I own several very expensive rigs of this design type but I wanted a ultra lightweight for my very heavy Ruger SR345, so I saw this an ordered it. It is very lightweight indeed and is very adjustable. It allowed the pistol to fit very snugly under my armpit and I got rid of the belt straps. I almost forget I am wearing a weapon. Though light in construction it is still well made and tough. Since it will be one of several CCW rigs, I will not be using it everyday so it will last a long time. Also, the Velcro is strong and allow for adjustment for just about every pistol I have. I would highly recommend this product.
