Provides wonderful ergonomic positioning and could not be better designed!
I started using my laptop stand just yesterday, and I can tell from the outset that I have purchased the perfect product for my needs. It works perfectly for my hefty 17” Lenovo Ideapad 320. It holds my computer very securely. Before getting into the specifics on the quality of my specific product, perhaps the most important benefit of inclining laptop stands overall is that it provides perfect positioning. This removes the need to continually hunch over to look down to view your screen. So, this type of product allows the user to look straight ahead, with the screen even with your eyes while you sit erect in your seat. I had no idea of the health benefits this product supplies. Now, regarding my product specifically, I could not be happier. A really innovative feature is that its secure base swivels, so you can safely and easily turn you computer to the side, or even completely around, for others can see. Another feature is the protruding arm for holding your smartphone. I noticed this in the Amazon.com offering page but did not think it would be of much benefit. However, it is also a great design feature. Now, my phone sits directly upright directly in my field of view, accessible for immediate attention. Lastly, I had issues with the computer holding “lip” to keep your machine securely in place, prohibiting it from sliding off the stand. I shopped extensively for a “lip” that would not rise above your computer base, thus making it very difficult to comfortably type. Even with Amazon’s top sellers, reviewers often complained about this. This model’s design is perfectly suited to, while providing impressive security to keep your computer in place, provides lip dimensions that it does not at all rise above your computer’s base at all. Also, this one lip is positioned in the base’s middle, so it would also hold a tablet.

Unstable base
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The turntable underneath the stand makes for an unstable base. The stand rocks left and right like a table with a short leg. I would rather have a stable base that doesn't move than the turntable (see video)

Cheap plastic stand
This is a very flimsy cheap plastic stand. Breaks very easily. Even though it’s listed as a prime item return shipping is not free.

Money Well Spent
Just got this Carnation Adjustable Laptop Stand, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do very well. I have a rather large 14" Chromebook and am typing on it now. There's no wobbling or bouncing, as you might find with other stands. It is very well built and the design is well thought out. The seven height adjustment levels are more than enough to get your display to where you want it. Quite frankly, it makes the whole experience with the Chromebook much better because you don't have look down to view; you can get the display level with your eyes. And, as one with neck problems, this thing is a neck saver. The phone stand is a nice touch, too. Portable, well built, well designed, swivel base, phone clip, neck saver, all for under $20 with the $5 coupon. Very glad I bought one.

Finally One that works right!!
For at least 10 years I have been using all kinds of laptop stands and they all were failures till now. I play games on my laptop and I was worried the 2 prongs to hold the computer up would be in the way. I was so happy they are not. They are actually part of a larger area The edge of the computer sits in a ledge just under them and all the way across the front of the unit. It is nice as others would not catch my slim line computer and it would slide out or I would have to place comething into the ledge to help keep it in place. There is enough room for both a computer and chill pad. as long as the chill pad is slim. The unit is so sturdy that I can pick up the computer and move it with out having to take it apart. The arms to hold the computer up are so sturdy and lock into a deep hole so they don't constantly slip out. The turn table on the bottom is a major plus as the day goes on and window glare starts to hit my computer I can move it slightly and solve the problem. I can not rave about this more. I love it and I hope you do too. It is the only one I plan to use from now on. Thank you and Hope you enjoy it too. H. A. Young

QUALITY PRODUCT
After looking at what seemed like 50 laptop stands, I decided to get this one. I was more than a little concerned with it being plastic but it looked pretty sturdy so I took the plunge. If you are like I was, debating whether to get this stand, don't hesitate to give it a try! It is VERY sturdy and the light blue is a pretty color. The is no assembly and adjusting it is beyond simple. I have no fear of it collapsing or my laptop sliding off. Don't hesitate to buy this. You will get a quality product that should last many years.

Great little Stand...perhaps a bit wobbly when typing
I bought this stand to elevate my Dell 7000 15" 2-in-1 notebook for use with an external keyboard and mouse. For this it is great. However, when traveling, I also find myself using the stand with the notebook by itself. For this it works relatively well, but it does wobble a bit when I type. Suggestion would be (in future iterations of this design) to widen the the turntable by another inch or so for more stability and/or make the turntable easily removable and add rubber feet for the stand without the turntable. All that being said, It is quite portable and fits nicely into my computer brief case. I dinged it one star for wobbles.Update: I removed the turn table and installed 4 “sticky” feet on the newly exposed bottom of the stand. What a difference! Not sure why this stand needs the turntable at all - it is easy enough to reposition without it. Recommend the turntable be provided separate from the stand: it can be screwed on later if it is desired.
