Less Vitamins Included Than Other Brands - Dog Enjoyed Eating These
The Smart Fido Multivitamin is an okay dog vitamin if you’re looking for a small vitamin boost for your dog. Because of my dog’s age, I’ve been supplementing his meals with an 8-in-1 multivitamin and after reading the label of the Smart Fido vitamin list, I don’t think it’s the best vitamin for most dogs based on the limited vitamins included. The analysis label reads more like a dog food label and the vitamins included are generally lower concentration than other brands. These vitamins are also contain sugar in the form of cane molasses as the second ingredient. Because it’s not mentioned on the label, I’m presuming these vitamins also include grain, corn, and soy, however they are not listed in the ingredients in a simplified form. I’m not sure if these are processed in a factory that do include grain, corn, or soy, but for those who are limiting their dog’s grain intake, you may want to be aware of that. In terms of look, scent, and appeal to my dog, these definitely were happily accepted. The chews are like little treats for my dog, and he ate them with no problems. These treats smell and look like heart shaped bouillon cubes. Overall, these are an okay vitamin to offer your dog, but there are many other similar options out there with more vitamins, additional supplements such as glucosamine, cod liver oil, biotin, and CoQ10 at a similar cost. While these okay to try once, these are likely a vitamin I would not buy in the future.

Questionable ingredients, but my dogs like them
All three of my dogs like this multivitamin. I like giving them vitamins to supplement their meals, but this isn't the kind that I would ordinarily get. I'm not sure if they are the best for their needs after I checked out the ingredient list. Potato starch, cane molasses and canola oil?! I don't even eat any of those things because they have no nutritional value. I would have to ask their vet to figure out if the level of vitamins is good enough, but I don't think that I would get this for them again anyway. They like the taste and they look forward to getting them every day. Since all of my dogs are around 25 pounds this is about a month supply for them, so they are a bit pricey. None of my dogs has had any negative reactions to these, so while I am not sure of their nutritional value, I can say that they aren't harmful.

I feel I am helping my dog to stay healthy.
My dog is so picky. She only likes certain treats and food and even then, she will turn up her nose at them at times. I was so hoping she would like these vitamins because she needs them. Her diet is is wacky. These cute heart shaped chews and slightly larger than my Yorkie likes BUT she actually eats them. I was surprised when I gave her two halves and she ate them without any issues at all. She has been eating one a day now for a while. I don't see any major changes in her overall health but she is a healthy 5 1/2 year old and I want to keep her that way as she ages. These ensure that she gets the vitamins she needs and they are not mega doses which I avoid even for my own vitamins. So far, so good. Molly eats the chews, no stomach issues, and I feel like I am doing something positive for my beloved dog.

My dog is waiting for them in the morning.
Make sure to check your dogs weight as it goes from one up to four a day. My doxie gets one and my lab gets three. Again its based on weight. The first day both dogs stuck their noses in the air. I left it alone and attempted on day 2. Reese, my lab went for it. After she ate one she took the next two. Winston still kept his nose in the air. Day 3 Reese was thumping her tail on the floor and Winston looked interested. Reese gulped all of hers and Winston mouthed his then chomped away. By Day 4 I had won them over.I love the heart shape. Its just cute. They do not smell bad. Some dog goodies can be bad but these are not. Over all I am happy with these as my dogs are getting vitamins and what they now believe to be a treat. That is a winner all day long.

Well-accepted by dog, supplementation for owner’s peace of mind
My dog is really enjoying these vitamin chews! I just plop two in her dish of food and down they go. I have also tried them as treats and she loves them. They’re very soft. She doesn’t care about the cute heart shape, but is just interested in eating them. This product is a multivitamin, and I really like the idea of giving daily vitamins to my dog. It “provides a complete spectrum of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.” See label for details. Smart Fido is a reputable brand and I will continue to supplement my girl’s diet with this multivitamin.

My dogs like them
My dogs enjoy their vitamin treat every night (I give them theirs when I take my vitamin). These are super cute little heart chews (see pic)....I was pleasantly surprised by that sweet touch. For my dogs' sizes it suggests 2-3 a day, but we're just doing one a day, otherwise we'd go through a bottle way too quickly and my dogs are perfectly healthy.I haven't noticed anything different in my dogs, so who knows if these are actually doing anything, but I figure extra vitamins couldn't hurt (can you really tell as a human if your daily vitamin is doing something, because I can't).

Potato starch, cane molasses, canola oil
Dog food sold in the U.S. is required to meet nutritional standards so there is generally no need for a vitamin supplement. People who feed their dogs whole foods would be unlikely to give their furbaby these chews as the ingredients are mostly nutritional junk except for the dried pork liver that is included for flavor. The first three ingredients are potato starch, cane molasses, and canola oil. So they don't really meet a need and they are much too expensive to use as treats.

Bully Loves Them
My Bulldog loves this vitamin but he is the only one. This doesn’t mean a lot because my other dogs are so picky. However, my bully really needs extra vitamins and also takes glucosamine for his hips.I like the shape and size of these vitamins. 90 count would be a months worth of vitamins for my bulldog and this adds extra nutrients to his diet. He also thinks they are like a tasty treat.I do wish the other two dogs liked these too though.
