I installed this Lincoln Electric 4 point headgear as a replacement for my Yeswelder helmet headgear which was weak and malfunctioning.This headgear was an upgrade that improved the adjustability and durability of the helmet.

Awesome headgear

Used this to replace a cheap part in another welding helmet. Feels way way better and eliminates the hotspots I had from the old one.Took a bit of playing around to get it installed and setup how I like it, but now that it’s set it’s working wonders. Would definitely recommend.

I like this headgear for the most part. It has a great deal of adjustability and fits well. I use it in another brand of weld hood, my only gripe is that the back strap must be held in place while tightening. My other head gear could just be swung down and tightened quickly without worrying about placement on the back of my head. A very small gripe, but it cost the headgear a star in my opinion. I still really like it and would buy it again.

I bought these to replace the stock headgear in a cheap yeswelder helmet I bought a few months ago. This is pretty much a drop in replacement, as the headgear attachment holes line up perfectly.

My headgear arrived slightly warped, as it is just plastic and it was probably shipped in an awkward position. This didn't ruin the functionality much, but it definitely affected the comfort a little.Overall I would say the material and design are good, but unfortunately it didn't come with any instructions and I couldn't find much information online either. I had to return the item because I simply had no idea how to install it in my helmet after trying to figure it out for an hour.Other reviews mentioned it works in Yeswelder helmets but it didn't seem like it would work with the one I have (LYG-M800H). Perhaps it is easier to install if you just stick to Lincoln Electric helmets only.
