PowerBlock Classic EZ Curl Bar

I purchased the PowerBlock Classic EZ Curl Bar to increase the amount of exercises that I could do with my PowerBlocks at home. I can now to a more effective bicep curl, bent over rows for lats, and standing upright rows for shoulders to name a few. These movements are all possible with dumbbells only, but the adition of the EZ Bar definitely improves it.The bar came ready to be assembled and I had it unpacked and put together in less than 5 minutes. I have used it for 3 weeks and it is just as durable as the PowerBlocks are. The bar is easy to use and switches out quickly with the dumbbells.The only thing I don't like about the Bar is that it did not come with the 4 silver insert weights included. They are available separately and I plan on buying them soon just to make things more convenient.

I recently purchased the elite 70s and likes them so much I wanted to add more equipment to make my own home gym. If you use powerblocks on a regular basis, the straight and ez curl bars are great additions. The number of exercises that you can perform with the ez curl bar will greatly enhance your workouts.The only issue with the ez curl bar is that you have to set the dumbbells down on the floor and remove the handles so you can place the barbell inside the weights.

If you have Classic PowerBlocks this is a must have. The bar comes with it's own set of the grey handles that come in the regular set, which you just place down in the weight stack like you would on the other handles. You will need to move the adder weights from the handle over if you want, since the ez curl bar does not come with those. The bar weighs 20 lbs when empty. Great addition to the home gym.

I have the Powerblocks Pro Rexan Set which is the original set. One major limitation for me is that the adder weights are too long for the handles to close/secure the cylinder adder weights.Assembly is awkward, given the tight fit. It takes a few times to get the grips aligned when tightening.For the use, it's stable when using no weights or adding the Powerblock weights. The grips on the EZ Curl are identical in size to conventional gym equipment. However, it only accommodates for powerblocks. Depending upon the set you have, you can use the stickers to show the weights of your particular set.I would recommend checking the nut assembly before each use to prevent getting injured. I may even consider using some Blue Loktite on the screws.Overall, I am pleased with my EZ Curl bar.

I use this bar with my PowerBlock Elite 50 dumbbells with the Body Beast workout program and it add's a whole new dimension to the workout. Great build quality and functionality. It's from PowerBlock, Enough Said.

Absolutely a must for that person still wanting barbell exercises to go along with their dumbbell workout very smooth and quick to change the weight I have the urethane set along with the classic set each with the ez bar attachment powerblocks are easily hands down the best ever and I have tried them all.

Works great with Powerblock 50 dumbells.

Combine with the powerblock dumbbell is one of the most impressive tool of exercise I see and use....love it...
