Will buy again because it’s that good
I bought this Cica Cream because I was using Skederm Hydro (which I loved) but it was no longer available. I was willing to take a chance because I had seen many reviews of a much more expensive Cica cream, and I wanted to try it out for myself. At the time I purchased this one, there was a $9 coupon applied to lessen the expense. Having used it for several weeks, I can say I will purchase it again at full price. It absorbs quickly and completely, doesn’t make my combo skin oily in the least. I love that it has no smell, and is very gentle on my super sensitive skin. No breakouts, and it does a really good job of keeping winter flakiness away. When you first apply it, skin feels like velvet. That’s a good thing!

Not for girls worried about redness or into floral scents that smack you in the face
If you're getting this to try to prevent redness or don't like strong floral scents, this is not it sis. It's super moisturizing though so if you don't have sensitive skin, I'm sure this product's great. This actually made me more red than I get from other moisturizers. I am now a well moisturized red blob that smells like cheap floral perfume :' )

... moisturizing enough for a night cream and great for spot dryness during the day
I LOVE cica products first of all. I’m also obsessed with K-beauty. I’ve tried several other Cica creams and this one is wonderful. Skederm makes quality effective products — I’ve used their eye cream for years (unfortunately it’s not on amazon anymore). This cream is more emollient than other Cica creams — best for drier skin types year-round or all skin types in winter. I’m using it because I’m on tretinoin and... it’s winter. It’s moisturizing enough for a night cream and great for spot dryness during the day. There is a slight fragrance, keep in mind. This tube will last me for a while, so the price is great. I have combo oily skin for reference.

Very Disappointing...
SKEDERM Cica Cream Madecassoside Repairing Face Moisturizer, 50ml / 1.69.oz has disappointed me.I am a big fan of Korean beauty products and Cica cream. The packaging is also pleasing and lead me to believe I may have a superior product on my hands...or face. But the smell of the product is a distasteful cross between off-citrus and old baby powder. It puts me off so much that it's difficult to use the product.I gave it a good try though and found that the cream wears off within an hour like your skin peeling after a sun burn. The cream is light yet very moisturizing like I've come to expect from Cica cream. It just won't stay on the skin. I used a plain cleanser and plain rosewater toner like I do with all products, to be sure there is no other product interaction. So so disappointing. I would recommend the active ingredients and have tried other Cica creams that are absolutely wonderful.I hope the manufacturers work on improving the issues I encountered.

wasn’t expecting much but pleasantly surprised
i wasn’t expecting much for a $10 lotion because my skin generally doesn’t really appreciate cheaper lotions. mainly because quality of ingredients tends to go down to make room for profit, so my skin never does well with like olay or other drug store brands. i gotta say this product was a pleasant surprise because it absorbs pretty well and keeps you hydrated without shine. you get more than an ounce for a little less than $10, which for a decent moisturizer, that’s a steal! i will for sure use up the bottle especially with the weather getting cooler. this would be a good option if you’re broke or have a teen getting into skincare or if you don’t want to dedicate too much of your money to skin stuff. i don’t have redness issues or rosacea so i can’t tell you anything about that. for my sensitive normal to combination skin it’s good! i also don’t have eczema or acne, so can’t tell you how it reacts to that. if you have similar skin to mine, it would be a good buy!

Great Moisture
I've been using Purito Green Level Recovery Cream for several years and still like it. However, this is a little heavier and I've been using it at night since the Purito was too light. I live in a desert climate and need all the moisture I can get! My skin is amazing when I wake up in the morning. I prefer products without fragrance and the Skederm does have a strong fragrance. It hasn't irritated my skin and has a nice scent.

Affordable but not a good cica cream
I like to use a good cica cream to help repair my skin, get rid of or tone down any redness, moisturize, and relieve my skin after trying a product that irritated my skin. I also use it on nights that I shave the peach fuzz off my face. These are things that a good cica cream should do. Now on to this particular cica cream from Skederm. The price is very affordable (especially compared to the one I've been using). Yes it has nice packaging if that's important to you. I didn't see any fragrance listed on the product page before ordering, but it has a very artificial scent to it. Enough that I'm convinced it has some type of added fragrance. I do not like using facial products with added fragrance. Plus it totally defeats the purpose of a cica cream. Even if I'm wrong I find it difficult to get past the scent. I don't find it very moisturizing. When I wake up in the morning I find that instead of absorbing into my skin much of it sat on top. It peels off in chunks. It has a strange consistency. I didn't find that it soothed my skin and/or helped with any redness, which for me is a major reason for using cica cream, along with derma repair and moisturizing. I see that many other reviewers really enjoyed this cream giving it 5 stars. If it works for them that's great since the price is very affordable. It's just not for my skin. In this case I feel you get what you pay for. I think before deciding on a cica cream you may want to research what a cica cream really is for.
