Costume Badge Brass Sheriff Old West Prop

Very nice badge. Heavy duty.

The badge has a nice finish, and it's definitely built to last. I gave it four stars because:- Mine says "Deputy Sheriff" instead of "Sheriff". If there are several versions of the badge, one should be able to choose.- The pin fastener is very thick and somewhat rough, so it may damage clothing.

Thick and sturdy badge made of real metal. Nice weight. Perfect for costuming.

My 4-year old sheriff loves it. Says it is the best badge he’s ever hand. It’s true. Others have broken within days, hours. Not this one. It’s strong. A solid metal badge that feels like the real thing. Heck, maybe it’s too much like the real thing, like the ones made during the real wild west.Mom and dad are not so happy about the huge, sharp, thick pin on the back. The pin is like a metallic cactus needle, and the badge is heavy, so it creates large, noticable holes in fabric after a day of wearing it. Not to mention the thickness of the pin makes poking through fabric a difficult, nerve racking experience.We break off a pencil eraser and stick it on the end of the dagger (er, the pin) after it’s rammed into the shirt, so we feel like it’s not going to accidently punchure our little boy’s heart while he’s doing rough, western sheriff stuff.

Everything I hoped for! Needed some props for my rifle collection. This fits the bill.
