The bottom is made of unpainted alder wood with health properties and a profiled shape.

they look nice enough but I could not walk at all with them on they are so hard and uncomfortable

These have got to be the most uncomfortable things I have ever put on my feet they feel like wood all over they are disgusting unfortunately I have disposed of all wrapping so I can not return them if anyone wants them they are here , I will say they do look nice .
