This watch was the perfect Just Because gift. Last year our youngest son relocated to a Southern state to complete his educational goals. He came home for Spring Break. Before he arrived I could hear how much he missed his Midwestern family. It wasn't the first time he left the area so I haven't been worried about him. However, ever mother knows their own. I thought this would be perfect for him. A physical reminder Mom loves him and believes he will be okay, and a gentle reminder he's never along. He smiled when it was presented to him, as he examined it he read the warm words on the back and looked up, still smiling, yet tears cascaded. "Thanks for the FOREVER PRESENT HUG, Mom." Of course his words reduced me to tears as well. Thanks for making a mother's hug any young man would be proud to wear daily. He said the band is really comfortable as well. If you have a son away for school, or doesn't live near you during these trying times, this would be the greatest gift. He's extremely pleased so I'm over the moon happy for us both. It wasn't the most expensive gift, yet a very effective one. He's received many compliments about its style, so it's fashionable as well. He's even reported it only comes off when he's bathing or swimming, otherwise; he sees my love constantly.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He loves it! He says the engraving was a bit scratchy at first, but he lightly sanded it with fine grit sand paper and then rubbed with wax paper and he said it’s perfect now. He’s had lots of compliments on it, and loves to take it off to show people the engraving too. Definitely a good value, in my opinion! It also arrived a day early, and the box is nice so I just slipped the sleeve off and put a bow on it (no need to wrap!) and he still keeps it in the box when he’s not wearing it.

This was a gift for my husband. I thought it was very nicely made, better than I thought it would be. It is very lightweight but that was anticipated. It is a bit dark, as someone else pointed out, so I can see it being difficult to read in certain lighting. I bought mostly for the sentiment and gesture than for everyday use. It is a nice piece well worth the $20 to express your gratitude for a special someone. We will see how it holds up but we only plan on him wearing it every once in awhile for special occasions.

Bought this for my boyfriend and was worried that it would be cheap quality as it was a very affordable price. The watch is a normal analog and easy to set by pulling out the spin dial and then pushing it back in when the time is right. The engraving on the back was done well. I've heard him get several compliments while wearing it and he likes that it's made out of wood.

Llegó muy bien embalado para decir que se partió en el trayecto. La mica demasiado partida y la correa en la foto se veía marrón y es negra. Terrible!!! Como estoy en Venezuela el reloj llegó tiempo después de poder hacer un reclamo, lo cual no es justo. Agregue una foto para que aprecien mejor las condiciones en las que llegó el reloj! Lo quería dar como regalo especial en diciembre y estoy muy decepcionada.

I wanted my son to have something more sentimental from me so encourage him as he graduates from high school and becomes independent. The watch arrived in great time and I really like the craftsmanship and the uniqueness of the wood. I am very pleased with this purchase and I know that my son will enjoy it as well.

Got this for my hubby for Father’s Day from the kids. He’s not a watch person but absolutely fell in love with this when he opened it! Hasn’t taken it off since. His favorite part is that it’s a wooden like face and of course the engraving on the back! Super light weight and works well for him, he works in a warehouse. He has gotten so many compliments on it. 5 out of 5! Must buy! :)

I gave my husband one of these as a "stocking stuffer" on our anniversary. It stopped working 2 months later. Yes, I had the battery changed. It's still nice as a little gift, I guess.

Beautiful watch, meant to be an anniversary gift but it was supposed to say "i love you more with every second of every day" and instead came saying "i love you more with everyday second of everyday". Given that the item cannot be customized and comes with a select few sayings, I was at least hoping that the message they provided would at least be spelled correctly... overall disappointed.

The inscription does not say what the image shows when purchasing. At this time this is an Amazon choice product- I would assume Amazon would confirm some type of quality check, but this is not the case. The inscription reads "I love you with everyday second of everyday". For someone purchasing on short notice - please beware.

Gifted this to my BF and it stopped holding time withing the first 2 hours, changed the battery and it's still not working properly. Super disappointed because it's a beautiful watch

I bought this for my Dad, it came in the mail today. Dead battery, not made of of any wood what so ever at all. I am going to return this junk after this review.

What an awful experience - the first order was cracked and the engraving misspelled. The replacement the engraving still misspelled. Awful experience. Do not recommend.
