Great bag...one small flaw.
Great bag, one small flaw. This Bidwell Shoulder Bag by Overland is great and meets the high standards I have for nice looking, functional no-nonsense bags. It is a wonderful color for spring and summer. The material is durable and does not show wear. It has compartments for everything, including inside spots for a water bottle or sunglasses. The strap can be shortened or lengthened depending on the height of the person carrying the bag. And therein lies the difficulty. After two years of service, the end of the straps curl up and sometimes come out of their holder. Not good. Still, I bought a second one because I liked it and the color so much. This time, I am taking it to the shoemaker to have him stitch the straps so they do not curl.

Nice purse!!
Love Overland for it's durability and versatility. I chose this purse because I really liked the unique flower embroidery on the front. The strap is leather and is somewhat adjustable, but makes it a bit small when wearing it cross-body. One disappointment I have with this model over previous ones, is that the two side pockets (water bottle pockets??) have been eliminated. I miss those. They were a convenient place to throw keys or other often-used items.

Wish it was better
Not everything I'd hoped. Leather strap is ok but attachment to purse is floppy. Interior not roomy. If you put a water bottle in it no more room. But the front flap is biggest dissapointment. If you put anything in there, it won't close right. The magnets are so weak that it's a joke. Very poor design.It is cute, tho.

One great purse!
Nice and tall. That is why I bought this, for vacation, so I could put my DSLR in it with the zoom lens. Nice strong strap. My husband ended up carrying it for me a lot. *smile*

I love this bag
I love this bag. The room is amazing. the only reason I have a 4 start instead of a 5 is because of the strap. It is sturdy but I would have done it differently.

which makes this bag useless. I like the design
The strap is not secure at all, is constantly falling off, which makes this bag useless. I like the design, though it really can't hold water bottles + the contents of your purse. Not nearly as well made as older Overland bags. Disappointed.
