This was purchased for a downstairs toilet which has a decent level of footfall, ie heavy use. The old seat it replaced was about three years old and cost a similar amount when purchased.* The seat is twice as heavy as my previous one which was fairly robust and sturdy. I take this to be a good feature as it conveys sturdiness and appropriate for robust use. It is very well put together.* The fitting was fairly easy, it did require longer bolts than supplied, that may be a design issue on my pan, the bolts you need if longer are M6 and most likely 65mm to 85mm depending if you have a deep pan like i do. These are usually a couple of pounds from most DIY, Screwfix etc.* Its very easily adjusted by simply manouvering the fittings from side to side then tightening the bolt, the whole fixture pack is very solid and sturdy.* Once fitted the toilet clips soundly onto the base fittings. This is good because unlike my previous seat it also unclips easily which means you can thoroughly wash it down. Im not a cleaning slouch but i was surprised at the amount of dirt and marks on my old seat in places i couldnt get to when i removed it.* I would imagine its somewhere between 10-12 seconds to fully close, it is the slowest and quietest soft close i have ever come across, its super slow!* After a week of use and multiple users it hasnt moved a jot, its stayed firmly in place, lined up as it did when fitted. I have had comments about how much better than the old one it is from a comfort perspective, which is peculiar and warranted!* I have removed it once to clean and its so much easier, just push the steel button to unlock it and it comes away easily. Clean it and the pan as you would normally then slot it back over where it clicks in to place. It makes cleaning the toilet as a whole much much easier!Overall its a comfortable, solid, amazingly well designed and built upgrade on the seats i previously have had. Easy to install, the click release innovation is really useful and when i get around to it ill purchase more seats for the rest of the house!

Well made product that I have purchased in the past, so no hesitation in purchasing for new downstairs w.c.Fitting is very easy and detachment for cleaning is a button press away! Definitely recommend!

After about 4 months since I purchased it I can say is a good quality toilet seat. Looks good is comfy enough but there is a BUT. Toilet seat started to slide from right to left. Tighted the fixing parts still seat slides. Very annoying

This is comfort! Don’t waste your money on cheap seats for what will be required every day. This is so easy to install, it comes with the new type of fixings so you shouldn’t need to buy the recommended ones. A little bit of liquid soap enables you to squeeze the fittings into the holes on the back of your toilet. One screwdriver is all you need, tighten until very secure - no more fiddling around under the bowl with silly nuts. Once the fittings are in place it’s very easy to fit the seat, though you might need to angle the fittings to match up the holes on the seat if they’re not dead square. Very easy to remove if aligned correctly. Extremely sturdy and comfortable. As I said at the beginning it’s something you’ll be sitting on every day so it’s worth paying double for what you’d get from a well known hardware store

I initially left a bad review for this seat. I was wrong to do so and hopefully this is now deleted.I hadn't fit the seat right and had set it too far back which left the seat closing on first lift. Simply adjusting the seat has left it working perfectly. The irony was that the seat was so easy to fit that it was fit in minutes and I should have spent a couple more minutes setting properly. The fixing kit that is supplied is the best I have seen. Close coupled toilets can be almost impossible to access, not with the kit that comes with this.My new review is short but accurate.An excellent seat, excellent quality with more adjustment than any other seat I've seen. The top fitting fixings are the best bar none and make fitting the seat a doddle. If you have a close coupled toilet buy from this manufacturer as I believe these fixing kits come with all of their seats (though check first).I will never buy another brand, these are the best.

Brilliant well worth the money so easy to fit and the quality is excellent Only a good few months later I had a problem with the fixings I contacted the company and I found customer service extremely good they sent me out a new toilet seat free of charge great customer care 😀

The media could not be loaded. My seat is set at just under 100 degrees however the rim does not stay up. Strangely the rim seat automatically closes when you lift it up while the top cover stays put. I cannot push the seat any further forward as I pushed it to the maximum and there is a gap already in front. See my video and photos. Will contact seller to see if this is a defective one.It looks and feels really nice and fits the toilet however this issue is really annoying for us (specially for my 4yr old boy) as we didn't have this problem with the previous seat. I would expect the rim seat to stay upright from 90 degree onwards. Will reach out to seller and update review afterwards.Installation was super easy and the seat feels really sturdy and high quality to the look and touch. However I can only give one star given it does not stay up properly at 100 degrees opening angle.UPDATESeller responded seat is incompatible with my toilet and avoided answering why it closes by itself when open at 100 degrees. Item returned.
