Great coffee maker at a good price

I had a red Cuisinart coffeemaker, but it died after several years of daily+ use. Now red doesn't seem to be available, so I bought this one. It also has a more modern look, but it works great. I have zero complaints about the function or the coffee it makes. My family has been using these coffeemakers for years.

Great coffee maker, feels sloid. I have owed the previous versions of this, this one feels more solid. buttons are metal, carafe cover change is good. Refurbished well, Excellent Packing work.

After unpacking the quisinart coffee maker I was disappointed with it's operation; BEHOLD, I screwed up and did not notice the circular cardboard placed between burner and pot; no end of problems until I realized 'MY' mistake; it works great, just like the one it replaced, same model, etc.

Our last coffee maker had a low-temp setting, and the resulting coffee was close to 155 degrees (drinking anything above 149 is reported to contribute to throat cancer).This maker has low, medium, and high temperature settings, but even with low, the resulting coffee is 185 degrees or so. I was disappointed because its temp setting is the only reason we didn't get a cheaper coffee maker.Yes, I know that the water has to boil to make coffee. I'm not sure how the other maker kept the temp low. Maybe it didn't turn on the heating pad at all (this should be an option for this coffee maker).I almost sent it back, but a workaround is to set it to turn off the heating pad as soon as the coffee is done (nice feature). Also, I set it to finish brewing about ten minutes before we come down in the morning, so by the time we get there it has cooled a bit.UPDATE: On other problem is that the labels on the front wore off after a year of use. You'll need to print out an image from the manual so you can see where to set the dial.

Makes good coffee. I bought the metal filter and it fits well. Can be programmed to give you coffee in the morning when you are too busy to make it!

My favourite thing about this coffee maker is the temperature adjustment. The high heat is what I think makes the coffee taste the best. It’s has a preset function and an auto on/off. It’s really easy to use. I switched from my Kurig and I like this coffee maker 100times better
