Liquigen is a young company with an excellent product. The combination of a high quality RO unit with deionization filters to remove all remaining dissolved solids produces a very high quality water. I'm using it for my aquariums, but also for cooking. I know that the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in my tap water fluctuates considerably during the year, so I am reassured by having an excellent RO/DI unit to give me water with ZERO TDS. The customer service is excellent, and this crew knows their product very well. I'm very pleased with the unit I purchased, was impressed with the value, and would certainly purchase another if I had need for one.

Easy to install and to run. Using well water with fluctuations b/w 40 and 50 PSI, the filter using the permeate pump does produce the 10 gallons of water I use at a time. It does go slowly at times. I tried to contact customer service via the phone, but got no answers. I did get a reply via Amazon. The advertized product mentions an electric pump. I did not get it with the product. I mentioned it to the company and I got an electric pump with connections shipped to me. Thank you. This should boost the water pressure and make running the filter speedier and better. Overall, aside from going through the process to get an electric pump, the filter system works well and as mentioned above, was easy to connect and get it running to produce water. All connections are secure w/o problems. I would buy it again, but verify that the electric pump is shipped with it.

I’m using this product for water top offs and changes on a 180 gallon reef tank. It’s a nice filter, well made, fairly easy to install. The directions didn’t mention the permeate pump at all, so I had to research online. BRINE OUT goes to your wastewater, PERMEATE OUT goes to the IN side of stage 5, and clean water comes out of stage 6 to go into your water storage.I tried calling customer service but my phone voicemail was never returned.I’m on a well which has 30 PSI, and it’s made about 25-30 gallons in 12 hours. So if you have that low pressure, it’s a good idea to get a booster pump to go with it.Make sure you tighten all the filters including stage 4. I had a bit of leaking at first, but went around and made sure they were all right and it’s been perfectly dry since. It’s well made, nothing feels cheap on it.

Awful instructions. Instructions on website but good luck downloading them. But ..... that isn't so much the problem as you better inspect the hell out of this item. The o rings were missing on the di canisters. You will not have any problems at first but after about 5 hrs or so you will have a floor full of water as I did. I'm glad I inspected one last time before bed. I may have to replace part of my floor. I give 2 stars only because it seems well made ....too bad they can't take the time to include real instructions and a checklist to determine all items are included.

Very well built unit easy to install. I think I got a bad one because the DI stages went out only after 60 gallons. The resin was not green like shown. I think I got two resin cartridges that were spent, or damaged in shipping. I will remove the DI cartridges, and replace them. I might recharge the resin, this can be done for a reasonable cost.Other than the spent DI cartridges the system works well, and even without the DI stage working I am getting 100tds water just from the first stages.

Amazing company! My 6 stage RODI unit works perfectly and exactly as described!I’m very experienced in the aquarium hobby and RODI units, but not with permeate pumps hahaha needed lots of information so I called tech support...within a few minutes, not only did I have a very knowledgeable tech (Tim) on the phone but also had him there via text or call whenever I needed help.I 100% recommend this product to anyone looking for a reasonably priced RODI unit and a company that believes in amazing customer support!

For the first two months I had the product, it worked pretty good/ Unfortunately I started having issues with the system in the third month. When I called the customer support number on their website, I received a voicemail for their sales department. I left a message and never received a response. Over the period of a month I have left two additional messages and have still not received a response. I would not recommend this product solely based on the fact that you can not get help if you have an issue.

I initially had a few minor issues. A lack of instructions and mounting hardware. I contacted the company and he explained that Amazon did no track the box correctly. He was VERY helpful nd I would buy form them again. The reason behind the 4 star rating was the packing and the fact that the flow rate is a bit lower than I expected. Not much lower, around 120 gallons per day. I installed a secondary pump, this did not improve the flow rate all that much. By the way, 120 gpd is 75% of the advertised 160 gpd. I can live with it though, as I am using it for my tank. It did come in handy after Hurricane Mathew, I was able to ignore the boil water notice with a smile.
