This kettle was recommended to me by a friendly barista from my local cafe and so far this is definitely the best pour-over kettle I’ve had! I love this kettle so far. Easy to use, takes about 5+ minutes to boil on a med flame on my small back gas burner but I don't mind waiting. The handle stays cool as long as you don't use a high flame that goes over the pot. It has a very good heating source on bottom and keeps water boiling hot after boiling and turning it on my lowest setting for a good while. I can't say enough how much I love the no drip pouring spout. I am very pleased with my buy. You do need to keep an eye on it if you don't want the water to boil out and scorch the bottom that will affect the flavor in future use. It is small but perfect size for me (2 big mugs for coffee) I really do not need anything larger since I'm the only one using it. I love it and definitely recommend it.

I have been using this for the past three weeks to make pour over coffee at home, and this kettle has been doing great! My stove has coil surfaces, and this kettle has worked will in boiling to 195-205 degrees Fahrenheit in 10-11 minutes. I haven't needed to use an oven mitt since the handle has a cover, and it is angled far and away from the kettle itself. I'm also happy to report that the cover feels like it locks in properly while boiling and pouring, but it is not difficult to remove - unlike some other kettles I've used that take a bit more force. I really appreciated the detailed use and care instructions included.I have already recommended this same product and have sent the link to a few friends that are also looking into making pour over coffee as well. I hope others have the same experience with this product that I've had!

Bought this kettle for Chemex pour over coffee. Found it too difficult to use my existing kettle for the slow pour and this looked like a good value. Be sure to follow the directions to wash it several times and boil water in it twice. There was left over lubricant from welding the bottom to the kettle. Soap removed it. The kettle brings 1 qt to the correct temperature (as recommended in the directions), not more. There is just enough sealing in the kettle to get the water to the optimum temperature. This was a happy surprise for me, I live at 8400 ft and water boils at a lower temperature. The main reason I gave this 4 stars was that the plastic on the thermometer cover is abraded and is cloudy. Otherwise, solid little kettle.

I use an induction stove and this heats up very quickly. The thermometer seems to be accurate and I will have to confirm that with my other thermometers. I like that the thermometer probe is sturdy as that was my concern. I've just started using it so I hope that the thermometer continues to work over time. I was also given a 1 year added onto my warranty by the owners of Brewello so that was a bonus!

I have owned this kettle for three months. It is used every day to make pour over coffee. I love the built in thermometer. When I heat the water to boiling temp; I just look at the thermometer and when the needle is in the red; I am good to go. It is sturdy and does not leak. Love it

Originally received a broken product, but based on where and how I found it... I am going to blame that on amazon/the neighbor kids.Reordered it and I have nothing but good things to say... I use it like three times a day (Coffee, Tea, and wetting grounds for cold brew) and I couldn't be more impressed with its performance and the companies expedience with getting me a replacement unit!

I bought this with other coffee accessories as a Christmas gift for my partner. We've been using this kettle for three months and it works great. The thermometer in the lid is very convenient, and I have even taken the lid off the kettle to use the thermometer for cooking. The capacity is perfect to fill our 6 cup pour over coffee brewer. It also looks stylish sitting on the stovetop!
