Soooo glad I got these!!!!!
I was kind of wondering if buy plants online was going to be a good idea. These 3 plants came packaged so they could make the trip from California to Kansas without any damage to the plants. After a couple of weeks, I transplanted them. Today I can say that they are all doing well. The spider plant is almost double the size. The snake plant has 2 baby pup plants, and the palm is also doing well. I am very happy with the plants and love the way they had added charm to my house.

Awesome plants
Just got my plants today so I may update this review later. I was reluctant to purchase these based on some of the reviews but I'm so glad that I did. They arrived before the scheduled delivery window. They were very well packaged and you can tell they packaged them with care. Even though it's cold here right now they weren't damaged by the temperature or shipping. They were much larger than I expected which was a pleasant bonus. They were all in great condition and very much alive.I cleaned their leaves to make sure there weren't any pests that I was going to introduce into my plant army and they all seemed very well maintained. I haven't repotted them yet as I want to give them some time to adjust to their new home before shocking them anymore than they are. We will see how they do after the repot but if anything happens after that it's pretty much a me problem. I would definitely purchase from this seller again!

Some plants arrived in better condition than others
I've had these for about half a year now so I'll break down my review plant by plant. The spider plant died about a week after I received the package. Some of the leaves looked like they had been cut before shipping out, since the cuts were in a clean line and the leaves were not in the box. The rest of the plant began rotting in the plastic due to the damages being too severe before the box even arrived to me. By the time I received it, it was too late to do anything. I am not sure if the leaves were cut so they could be rooted to grow new plants by the seller or if it was just an accident, but either way I am disappointed. The parlor palm had some light damage that looked like it occurred during shipping. It did better than the spider plant initially and with a bit of pruning, but over time some of the palms died off due to them not being in very good condition to begin with. I still have the last palm left and it's sprouting new growths so it seems to be doing fine. The snake plant has done wonderfully. It arrived with some small damaged bits that looked like they happened in transit as well, and part of it doesn't seem to want to grow any larger now, but a second plant has sprouted and is flourishing. I am concerned about the roots not growing in well though; I repotted it to give the second plant room to grow and I noticed there's barely any roots on it. I'll do my best to make sure it continues to grow though.Overall I have mixed feelings about this purchase. I've bought a bonsai tree from this seller and the quality was fantastic, so it's sad to see other people here had the same problem with their plants. I'd like to recommend at least the snake plant, but the set's not really worth the price considering the fact you'll likely get at least one sickly or damaged plant.

Outstanding
The plants were wrapped really well to contain the dirt. And the leaves were wrapped too. And then places in a paper sandwich bag. Then placed in a box with packing peanuts. Which was great to help keep them a little warmer. Have pretty cold temperatures. Over all very impressed with the care they were given

Didn't arrive in great condition
12/8/18: I've ordered several plants from Hirt's before this and have always had great experiences, but this time, my experience wasn't as good. The plants were packaged carelessly and were way overwatered and moist, to the point were I was very worried about root rot, especially with the snake plant, which does not like to be watered often. The spider plant was separate from the other 2, and as you can see in the picture, most of the leaves had been cut. It looks nowhere near as healthy as some of the other spider plants people received. The snake plant and parlor palm were taped together and sealed in plastic, where they retained too much moisture. None of my other orders from Hirt's ever came this way so I'm not sure why these did. They also were both covered in sand. It's hard to tell in the photo, but the largest of the 3 leaves on the snake plant is damaged at the bottom with a large hole. All of the leaves have pale brownish-yellow kind of rotted looking spots. I know snake plants are resilient, so I'm going to do my best, but I'm not super optimistic. The parlor palm arrived looking the healthiest of the 3. I cleaned all the individual fronds off.The photos are from 12/1/18, immediately after receiving. I've now had the plants for one week, and unfortunately as I had feared, the spider plant and snake plant are both doing worse. The parlor palm is hanging in there. If they don't make it, I'll replace the plants from another seller.UPDATE 12/14/18: I went to repot the spider plant, who was losing several leaves, and found at least 2 worms/larvae in the soil! I cleaned the roots off and repotted in new soil. It seemed to be doing better, at least for a little while, but it has lost 2 more leaves since I repotted on 12/8.After that, I figured I should repot the snake plant as well. In the latest picture, you can see the big hole in the largest leaf a lot better, along with the rot in the bottom of the smallest leaf. I've since had to remove the smallest leaf, as it completely died. The parlor palm, the only one that arrived looking decently healthy, is still doing okay.
