These arrived just in time for me to try at my local outdoor range with a friend. I always use my active ear protection, so I took them with me just in case the Sono Protechs didn't work as advertised.The plugs fit really well and I had no trouble keeping them inside my ears. Material is soft enough that they don't hurt after wearing for a while.I could carry on a normal conversation while using them, and the sound of voices came through clear. While we were setting up, there were others shooting in lanes beside us. The plugs did a really good job of blocking the gunfire from surrounding lanes.I used these while shooting my .40 Cal XDM, and the gunfire didn't bother my ears at all. Quite impressed. Then I switched to my AR-15 and these plugs worked perfect.These guys have really figured out an inexpensive way to provide the same benefits of active ear muffs. Definitely worth the price. I will be buying another set for my wife; probably the small size.Highly recommended!

These ear plugs are awesome. I have used them for bird hunting a number of times now. When you are standing 3 feet from someone else blasting a shotgun by your ear, it gets pretty loud. These dampen that sound by a good amount without compromising my ability to listen for flying birds.The only improvement that I could think of is if there was a way to have them connected to a string in case one falls out. I was chest deep in a river trying to get a bird and one fell out (wearing a beanie hits them a little and in this case enough to pop it out although I hadn't had an issue with that before) into the river. Good thing is, they float. Bad thing is, the current caught it and swept it away. One of them is obviously not as effective but it's still better than having nothing.

I took this product to the shooting range with some of my friends. It worked great as it damped out the loud sound of the gunfire but still let me talk to my friends. Normally I wear big (heavy and uncomfortable) head set which complete isolates me from conversation. It becomes hard to interact with my friends and of course the minute I take off my head set to talk to someone my friend fires off a loud round.This product completely changed my experience - now I could have fun talking and joking with my friends while also protecting my ears! The ear plugs are significantly more comfortable than wearing the large head sets as well.

I got these to help reduce airplane noise while sleeping, and they’re not any better than the foam ones you can buy at the store

They work Fair at best reducing noise levels when shooting. Have a had time keeping them in my ears. They want to work themself loose. For the money they ar FAIR!!!!!

These are good for maybe ignoring your wife lol! If you dare lol seriously though by themselves don't take a chance at an indoor gun range or any range!

Sonopro ear protection has set the bar high for all other hearing protection on the market right now. I used this product for the first time on my motorcycle and could tell an immediate difference. The product can be used for many settings: shooting, concerts, loud vehicle work/driving all while letting you be able to hold a conversation with someone. Very quality product. 5 stars for sure!
