Wirelessly use any and all past, present, and future MIDI equipped devices! The AirPower2 MIDI transmitter from Starr Labs operates in the 2.4GHz range, giving the instrument an unobstructed range of 250 feet. The AirPower2 has built-in dropout protection and recovery for settings where obstructions and reflections are a problem. No more stuck notes! The AirPower2 Wireless MIDI System seamlessly recovers from momentary dropouts in transmission. Sixteen user-selectable channel spaced across the 2.4GHz band allow several AirPower2 links to operate on the same stage. The AirPower2 receiver is equipped with both MIDI and USB output for direct connection to a PC, Mac, Ipad, or Android device. Both USB and MIDI outputs can be used simultaneously. Perfect for studio and stage applications where MIDI cables just won't cut it!

This is the one you want
Well constructed, reliable and with good range. I explored several other options and this one seemed to be the best. I wasn't disappointed, this one works.

Useless
Terrible. Many dropped packets. Replaced it with an old MidAir and hard-wired cable and system was back to 100% stability. I'm really disappointed in this product... It's virtually useless.

No More Cords At Last!
I was sick of tripping over cords and being stuck at my keyboard station. This gadget is cool as it allows me to keep my synth-modules by my Rhodes setup and move around the room or use it as a second station for whatever midi controllers my friends bring over. Plugged my keyboard into the transmitter midi plug and the midi plug on the receiver went the MOTIF. Plugged in the wall wart for power on the receiver and put 2 AA batteries into the transmitter and turned them both on. Sync light came on almost instantly and I was wireless. That’s it. I was able to get over 80 feet away with no problems this thing works great. No discernable midi latency(which I was worried about). This thing does what it says it does.

Trusty wireless system
Real easy set up thanks to a straight forward design. got it working in minutes with my VORTEX linked to my Laptop (running NI plug-ins in Logic). I honestly can't tell any difference in latency between having a cable and not. I haven't had enough room to test the 250' foot range yet but there has been absolutely no hanging notes and latency issues in my studio and on stage thus far.4.5 stars only because I wasn't thrilled about the holster that was included. Seemed like it was for a pager or something... Using double-sided tape instead does the trick for me. Nonetheless overall great product.
