One Great Pocket knife!
I had one of these box cutters way before when i was still working as a delivery route driver back in South San Francisco a couple of years earlier. This is a fantastic knife but my issue with this is you have to put extreme caution when putting this knife in your pant's back pocket for it has the ability that the blade would just pop out and slice your ass literally! I ordered another one and to my surprise, this one actually is a better one that the first ones i ordered. It has a double locking mechanism both on open or closed position & there's only one way to open the blade and close it & keep it locked from preventing it from slipping. These new designed ones are a TON better than the first ones that came out a couple of years back.I use my mine for cutting boxes out from my Dialysis delivery boxes and this knife is way lighter than the first issued.I highly recommend this product due to it's new designed double-lock mechanism for better safety control. And on top of this, this knife came with extra blades + it's really easy to chamge the blades w/o using any external tools. Best utility knife for the price!!!

The best $8 you will spend in the next 10 years
If i could give this product 10 stars, I would. I manage a convenience store and i use my Turbo Knife at least 50x per day. I bought one several years ago because a store had them on sale for dirt cheap so I figured, ah what the heck? This is my 4th Turbo knife, second that I have purchased. I lost my last one a couple weeks ago and have felt naked ever since. I have tried several different types of utility knives and NOT A SINGLE ONE can compare. If i need to open a box, I can whip out my TK that I have clipped inside my pocket and slide out the knife in one fluid motion. One slide puts it back. I have been mourning it's loss ever since I lost it. It was my good little buddy. Always there and always reliable. Before leaving for work, I always check for phone, wallet, keys, Turbo. There are a lot of people complaining on here about how they fall apart, etc. Yes, I have had that problem. My last one randomly lost screws. Obviously the folks didn't read the package before whining on here about it. THEY ARE GUARANTEED FOR LIFE. Remember how I said I have had 4 and bought 2? My first one had the screw that sandwiched the blade disappear. I emailed Olympia Tools, sent a pic and I had a new one in a couple days WITH FREE SHIPPING. the second one had the screws that hold the frame together fall out. I sent a picture with my shipping address- they apologized and promptly sent a replacement. They also advised me to periodically tighten the screws (it uses a T9 torx) I bought a little "Electronics Repair Kit" for $4 at Harbor Freight that has the right size Torx bit for the TK. So every month, I do my TK maintenance- change the blade (by now I've used both sides), wipe the blade slide down, apply ONE drop of 3-in-1 and tighten all the screws and it has never failed me.It is refreshing to see a company stand behind their product 200% and to have a product so good that it disrupts someone's everyday function when you don't have it. Believe me when I say, BUY THIS FREAKIN' KNIFE.

good utility knife
This design of utility knife is the one that works best for me.I am an older female who wears a Women's Large or Men's Small glove. So, my hands are not huge. This utility knife lets me cut cardboard down to size for Recycling. The blades are good, basic blades that work well & are fairly easy to replace (not to mention fairly easy to FIND).

Wish it was like the old version
I used this knife everyday for about 10 years. It was sturdy, metal and solid. I recently purchased THIS one which is the same but made of thinner material and already has a chip in the corner from dropping on concrete. Please go back to the metal frames and solid feel.6 MONTH REVIEWAfter owning this blade for 6 months, 3 of the screws which hold the assembly together had worked themselves loose. This unfortunately caused my blade to fall onto the ground without my knowledge.Durability:This is overall a decent blade. There are some caveats with the product as a whole.1: As mentioned previously, this assembly is made of plastic. This used to be made of metal and was a lot more durable.2: I drop this thing almost daily due to my own carelessness, and in doing so, have multiple scratches and chips. Which was not the case with the all metal frame of previous models.3: As previously stated, 3 of the screws have worked themselves loose which caused a catastrophic failure. Some locktite should fix this issue.4: The belt clip is screwed into plastic, which over time causes the plastic to warp and loosen. This can temporarily be fixed with some loktite.Ease of use:This thing is by far the best option for me and anyone else that has to consistently pull out a blade for use.Take away:Buy some loktite or a thread sealer and get to work. Although I would love to see the metal version come back out, this knife will get the job done without much fuss.

Works GREAT!
The media could not be loaded. I use this knife EVERY single day. It works so well compared to any of the flip out style knives out there. I used to have an all metal one but I cannot find that type anymore, but, I have grown to like this more as it’s quite a bit lighter in weight. Smooth operation as well. And the slide latch needs to be pushed to the side a little to release the slide. It’s a great feature as my old knife didn’t have that and would slide open in my pocket. Everyone that sees it compliments it and asks where to get one after they try it out. Highly recommended!!
