Elegant Looking and Slightly Smaller Than Similar Watches, Which is a Good Feature.
This watch looks very good with the simple design and polished silver looking denominations (they look white in the photo but they are metallic). The watch is slightly smaller in diameter and thickness than most similar watches, which I like--it reduces weight without having to be made of titanium, and it doesn't interfere with the wrist. The strap is fine for me but it might be too short for people with large wrists. The luminous parts work reasonably well although they do not stay glowing for that long. I was surprised that the day of the week and date window was smaller than I thought it would be, it's actually hard to read. That would be my main complaint. It would be better to have a slightly larger date only window and forget about the day of the week. But overall it is a stylish, elegant, uncluttered, easy to read design.Update: After wearing the watch a couple days, the initial hole I used in the band was too loose and the watch would end up on the side of my wrist a lot of the time, and the next tighter hole seems a little too tight, so maybe I can put another hole in between.

Looks Great!
This watch has great time retention. Is the right size, Is not to heavy, and feels comfortable to wear. It's also very easy to read. Citizen is a great name, and this watch is a very great value.

Handsome Watch for the Price
It's a very nice watch for the price. You can't go wrong with a Citizen at this price point. It's relatively thin and has held up well to normal daytime wear. It keeps ok time...I hadn't worn it in a couple of weeks and it lost about 3 minutes in that time. I knocked it down a star because of the band. The leather is stiff so that causes it to sit a little awkwardly on my wrist. Also, the band is short. My wrist is about 7 1/2 inches around I can only get it clasped on the second hole. Overall, it's a handsome watch that is an excellent value but it isn't completely without issue.

Classy / Casual
Looks very nice, silver and black is always a winner. The leather band looks great. It's the same thickness and size like most of my other time pieces. Japan made quartz movement works well. Citizen watches are known as accurate and long lived. The finish is nice and polished. The dial is very ledgeable, the size is large enough. The dial soaks up light and is bright to see at night. I like it!

Great everyday watch
This is a quality, stylish, and reasonably priced everyday watch that could also serve as a dress watch. Unlike many expensive watches, the date window on this watch is large enough to read without the help of a magnifying glass, and it gives you the day AND date to boot. Setting the day and date is easy IF you READ the setting instructions first. So far it has kept perfect time with my atomic watch and computer clock. While the watchband (made in Thailand) is of medium quality (I wonder how long it will last), it is padded and wears comfortably on the wrist. Citizen also makes a similar looking watch that has numbers on the face and a red second hand. However, you'll pay more for that . . . go figure.

Quality Quartz Movement Watch with Day/Date Complication
There's not a lot to say about this watch. What you see is what you get. I purchased a Citizen Eco Drive (BM8180-54A) over two years ago and I'm still very happy with it. I wanted a more formal black-faced watch to wear when I dress up for work and social events. I'm glad I dug a little deeper than usual, as this item is not available through Amazon fulfillment (no Prime shipping). However, Bright Mountain delivery was prompt and inexpensive. So far, I am very pleased with the watch. It's difficult to find a quality timepiece at this price point. This watch is not flashy and is unlikely to draw much attention. It is a conservative, refined design. The face and day/date function make the watch very easy to read. As the other reviewer mentioned, the band is very sturdy and well padded. Another impressive detail: the second hand is well aligned with the markers. I have seen very few inexpensive quartz watches (including my other Citizen) get this right. I have had some bad luck with other brands in this price range. To get the quality of a brand I trust and the classic, simple style of this model at this price is a steal.
