LEGOPirates Treasure Island (70411)

Great set. My son loooves the alligator and cannon that shoots little pellets. He also loves the trap door. My daughter was sad and saying "Why don't they make cool ones like this for the girls!... I'd like a trap door for my girls!".

fun for all ages. pirates are a classic that never gets old. the skeleton head actually lifts up when you move the palm tree back to reveal the treasure. that's a really nice touch by lego. bonus the cannon actually fires lego brick and so too does the small gun that is mounted upon the little blue boat. all this set needed was a monkey to complete it. i wish lego would bring back the monkey to these sets from the last pirates set. those were awesome. anyway, 5 out of 5 stars. if you are only going to get one set out of this line, this would be the one to get. for price, parts and originality you can't go wrong.

You can't go wrong with legos! They are a quality product that have stood the test of time. This set features lots of little extras like a lego alligator that make it a great addition to your lego collection!

This is a great set. Even though the birthday boy is still a bit too young, the older brother and he really enjoyed putting it together.

I went through a Lego phase and bought the Pirates sets. Everything arrived in perfect condition and the instructions were super easy to follow. It's seriously fun to build these sets and then customize them. Whenever I see the for "ages 5-12" I wince and think of Will Farrell from The Lego Movie as he defends his Lego hobby to his son. Before getting the sets I had bought two lego minifigures that look like my husband and me. I used the outfits from the sets for our minifigures, lol. Yeeeeuuup, I'm a goof. :D

Cool pirate vignette and fun to build. The palm tree lever opening the skull secret door is a nice touch. Worth the price for the set - value for the money is easily 5/5.
