Sunrise Coast Geneva Fabric-Upholstery Futon Couch with Stainless-Steel Legs, Harbor Gray

Bought this for our office as a couch and when we had an occasional guest stay over. With Covid our college student came home and has been using this as her bed the past 4 weeks. She said she gets good sleep on it and it's very comfortable. It's comfortable as a couch and a bed, love this addition and to our office. Easy to change from couch to bed and would recommend this.

I ordered a futon for twice the price and had delivery issues. I ordered this instead and have been pleasantly surprised. Although some reviewers complained that the cushions go flat, I am not concerned in the least. ALL COUCH cushions flatten over time. Even the expensive furniture in my living room has flattened around the edges. This couch is sturdy, comfortable, and relatively easy to assemble.

See update at end of thisArrived Missing all hardware and the rear legs and floor protectors and there were no instructions or manual. This company's info on amazon site is wrong - the Amazon rep could not even contact the company for me. I spent hours on this. Amazon is sending me a new one - the one I got then is what ...garbage? It is a really good and good looking and comfortable ( I think anyway) futon - just perfect - but whoa - this is a really wasteful and stupid way to proceed.Legless CouchmanUpdate - without amazon I found company info and contacted them and they are sending the parts . Good news if the parts come. Meanwhile I cannot cancel the replacement sent by amazon - they do t give me the option. I could return it but how- it’s heavy and awkward. I guess I’ll have to refuse delivery. Anyway the saga continues ....

Nicer quality than I thought it would be for the price. Perfect for the mancave we were putting it in! It was very easy to assemble. My husband made me put it together and I had no problems. You had to feel for the holes through the fabric and then I just punched a hole with a scissors when I found it and screwed it in.

This looks nice both in pictures and in person, but it's not comfortable — either to sit on or sleep on. Despite how it looks in pictures, the padding is really thin.Now let's talk about construction and let's start with the center hinge. When laid flat for sleeping, the hinge isn't exactly in the center, this is because the "back" of the futon is wider than the seating area. And that hinge is not only rigid, but because of its positioning, it sticks up between the padded top. This means that you'll most likely end up trying to find a spot to the left or right of that hinge.Now let's talk about lateral bracing. Essentially, the futon is a box construction, so there are lateral supports to help make the two rectangular halves of the back and seat sturdy. The box construction is wrapped in fabric, but the ribs aren't padded. When you're seated on the futon, there are three distinct "seats" between the lateral ribs. If you sit in the wrong spot, you'll end up with a rib in your butt.When you lay the futon flat to sleep, though, you're not only fighting with the center hinge, but you're also fighting with the lateral supports. The end result is you don't get a great night's sleep on this thing. It's fine for napping on, but anything beyond that is torture. If you're thinking of getting this for guests to crash on — don't.Again, this looks "nice", but it's not worth the money you'll spend on the futon and visits to your chiropractor.

I've had this futon (in gray) for several months. When I first received it, it was very comfy to sit/lie on, but - as a relatively small person using it with some regularity - I've been disappointed with how quickly the stuffing lost its "fluff" and comfort. I can now feel the hard frame underneath the cushion and find my tailbone quite sore if I sit on it for longer than a half hour. I've had to resort to buying some memory foam chair cushions to place on top of the futon.The futon looks classy and inviting, though, and is a fairly good value for the price, so if you don't mind getting a mattress topper/cushions for it, or if you're not planning on using it often, go ahead and buy it.

I personally love this futon. actually comfortable. Also, I notice that some reviewers are saying it supports only 300 lbs, but the instructions that came with mine say 500lbs.

Comfortable to sit on as daily couch, had a couple people sleep on it and no complaints. The fact it can sit upright or lean back is a major point for me. Great buy for the price.
