Works very well!
I love everything about this device, except the USB connector is a little worrisome. The connector is reinforced with two small screws, but I've taken to using a short USB extender cable to prevent accidentally bending the connector pins when inserting or removing.

Works great, but does not come with an outer case, so a short-form SSD must be held down somehow
Used this to clone my Win 10 PC to a 256GB SSD. Mine was a 2230 form factor, and the only bushing installed in the adapter was at 80mm for a 2280 form factor. The adapter came with 2 additional screws, but there were no bushings at the 30mm, 42mm or 60mm points for the screws to fit into. I tried to gently pull the bushing out to move it down to the 30mm point, but it would not budge, and I was afraid I would break the circuit board if I pulled too hard. I wrapped a rubber band around the adapter to hold it in place. The cloning process went smoothly, so it worked.

You get what you pay for, cheap but functional. Perhaps a bit fragile though.
It seems to top out around 450MB/s for me, which I think is in the range of USB 3.0The main issue is there's nothing really bracing the connector to the rest of the board, aside from the metal solder connection. So personally I got a USB extension cable so I could lay it flat on my table and it doesn't have strain on the connector. And once I did that i realized i may as well just gotten a more expensive SSD adapter that supports the connector better.You live and you learn!

Does not work. Perhaps drivers are needed?
I could not for the life of me get this adapter to work with my new 970 Evo Plus 1TB. I bought the adapter specific for this drive. I looked at the website which has no support for this adapter and I looked at the amazon Q&A and comments. Mini tool did not see the drive nor did Samsung magician. Both were given as a possible fix.I could not find this drive under computer management. So it wasn't an unallocated issue either.The LED does turn blue when plugged into my USB-C slot So I guess it's an expensive blue LED Light.

bought this to use with an Intel NVMe 600p for use with my Xbox one. Easy to put SSD in.I wish there was a small piece of paper with pictured instruction of removing just the two back screws but nonetheless I Absolutely Love this NVMe ssd adapter! Thanks

It actually works (Samsung 970 EVO Plus)
it worked on the Samsung 970 EVO Plus. I used MiniTool Partition Wizard to clone my existing drive and it works. For some odd reason Macrium Reflect and Samsung Migration Tool (because it can't even detect it) doesn't work with cloning (for my case).Or just use AOMEI Backupper, its way easier because you clone it while the computer is on.
