Women's Ray Harness Back Zip Ankle Boot

On the advice of other buyers, I bought the 9.5 vs the size 10 that I normally wear and it was good advice. I ran out of time and ended up taking brand new boots on vacation and then ended up wearing them for 8 hours at a BBQ and they were perfect! No socks even! I never have that good of luck with new shoes. What a great well made bootie!

I purchased these Frye ankle booties in the chocolate color at a great price. I couldn’t be more pleased!! I’m usually between a 7 or a 7 1/2 in Frye, depending on the style. I saw that the smaller size was recommended and totally agree. They were comfortable right out of the box. The back zipper is practical and the outer bottom sole has rubber insets, so there is no slipping or sliding while walking. The chocolate color goes with everything. This little bootie is definitely a hit, well designed and comfortable, and would highly recommend, and it’s from Frye.

I wear an 11 but these 11 were slightly too big. i was able to slip them on an off without the zipper and the heel flopped around. i thought i would have room for an insert but the ankle being too large i'd rather get a different style than make do. the zipper is hard to zip up and down but i'm sure a little olive or coconut oil would fix that. i just ordered a 10 and hopefully they will fit.

I thought I was getting a great deal on a sweet pair of booties that I've wanted for a long time. But the smell! The boots have been in the garage airing out for two days. Hopefully, that will take care of it soon. My other Fyres have not had any odor except of good, fine leather. This is NOT that smell. Even my husband says they smell and he can't smell anything...ever. It is powerful...like uncured leather. Secondly, instead of suede, there is a look of moldy, flat leather.Update: After several days in the garage, the booties still stink and my entire garage has the smell. This must be Frye seconds because this is certainly not the Frye I've bought before. Unbelievable. They are going back.

I ordered these as my annual birthday boot purchase thru Prime Wardrobe. I am a huge fan of Frye, but not the Frye and Co. ones! Two different planets of footwear. These ran small. I have 3 pair of Frye boots that fit me 100% as an 8.5. These were too small. But 9 would have been too big. Strange for Frye. (For clarification, I ordered 4 pair of Frye boots/ shooties and 2 Lucky brand and the Frye all had fit issues.) But I love these. I tried them on many times over 3 days. Went with the Lucky brand ones nearly identical that fit perfect and have no skid soles. The color is spot on for pure black and the hardware is gorgeous. If you are inbetween a half and full size these boots will work for you...just order half size up.

I’m usually between 6 and 6.5 in Frye boots, so I ended up ordering both sizes, but the 6 is the right size for me. Typical great quality boots, lovely unique but versatile color. However, for some reason the color on the 6.5 pair was not consistent through out the boot, and the leather was dull and softer, but I wouldn’t have noticed if I didn’t have the two pairs to compare.

love these boots for their fit, their snaz, their character!yes, the back zips ARE a pain in the --- for the first couple of weeks of wear...but they DO begin to ride more smoothly, and probably there is a product out there that could be applied to the zips to hasten the zip-ease!

I really love these.. they run a little large for me.. I just returned because I want in different color.. these would look better with colored denim

Beautiful boots that fit to size. However, they appear to have been a store sample as the left boot was not packaged as well as the right boot and showed wear on the sole and creases mid boot.

Awesome boots. Very comfortable and excellent quality leather! No regrets!
