Superlok SMCI - 316 Stainless Steel Tube Compression Male Connector - Built in Gap Gauge - 1/2" Tube x 1/2" MPT

The torque indicator design is awesome. I was installing this in an awkward location and it was getting very hard to keep tightening, but I kept going until the red plastic pieces popped off with a snap. Being my first time ever using stainless steel tubing and compression fittings, I had no feel for how tight to make them. This made it very easy and provided peace of mind that I did it right.

I used this fitting on an exhaust manifold to set up a back pressure gauge. Itjas worked great.

The feature that tells you when you have tightened the fitting is very handy. It’s so easy to over tighten but these are more manageable.
