When I Grow Up: Habit 2 (2) (The 7 Habits of Happy Kids) Hardcover – Picture Book, September 8, 2009

I read this book to my grandchildren. They love it!!! Allie's granny reads her a bedtime story about a little girl who grew up. When the bedtime story is done granny tucks Allie into bed, then Allie imagines what it would be like to be grown up herself. The pictures are phenomenal and it's a quick read, perfect for my 3 grandchildren (6 & under). There's also a parents corner in the back, some discussion questions, plus some ideas on ways to get children to imagine themselves growing up.

My boys really liked the original 7 Habits book, I bought this not realizing fully what it was, I thought it was like "part 2" of the original book. I would like to read all of the habits books but not sure if I would buy each one. I would probably check them out from the library instead.

I have read and tried to use the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People principles since I was a teenager. I was delighted to find these engaging, fun stories for children teaching these habits.

I use this in my classroom to promote Steven Covey's Leader In Me program. It is a great program to help students learn to be leaders.

I have read it to my grandchildren and has given us a reference to help them cope when situations arise.

I LOVE the 7 habits. Great stuff. These supplemental books really lack the substance that I was expecting. They are cute but not enough story to them.

My kids have fun reading it.

nephew loves it - keeps his attention and his parents like that it opens up discussions for responsibilities. it's a hit
