This kit is one of the better options available on Amazon. I found most items to be of adequate to very good quality. The needles are approximately sharp and without rust, although they are mostly very small with small eyes. There are only two threaders (packaged with the buttons) so I added more threaders from a separate purchase as these are absolutely necessary for me (and I tend to periodically lose or break them!) The thread is decent quality and plentiful. The color assortment is wonderful. The kit is nicely compact and most items fit securely. The zipper closure seems of good quality and operates smoothly. I appreciated the snaps, button assortment and seam ripper. The magnifying glass is a nice idea, but just basic level quality. The scissors are surprisingly useful. I had a hard time removing the needles from the plastic case. Later (after I cracked the case) I noticed another reviewer explain that the case top had to be rotated to remove it. I wrongly assumed the lid opened on a hinge. Since I broke the case using blunt force to open it (lol), I simply store the needles on the included pin cushion.

My sewing drawer needed a good cleaning and updating. I like the thread colors and the size of the spools. I don't sew as often as I used to and don't need a lot of things I have and the things I do need like pins, are everywhere. This sewing kit is a good one.

This second delivery of the item, finally being the correct item, what showed up was perfect! Thank you for sending the correct item and all the parts are complete and very necessary for the much needed kit that I needed replaced after mine was lost from moving to another location with my mom.

Nice kit! I just wish it didn’t have the words on the cover.

This is great for a beginner. It has all of the basic things needed to start your own sewing project.

I tried to buy this twice cause the first time it was a great little kit. I ended up giving it to my daughter and tried get another one for me and they sent a cross stich kit. So I let them know and the sent a replacement pretty quickly. They sent a second cross stich kit. Ugh! I am just getting refund since I ordered one from some place else. I think their numbers got messed up at the warehouse. So all this to say... if you get the sewing kit in the black kit pictured, it is a great product. But beware currently not sending the right product. 10/24

Everything seems to be ok except for the scissors. The ones I got were small! Sadly one of the main reasons I got this kit were for the scissors. I think I’ll have to return and get another kit
