good size and sharpness but if you are rough they can break easily. i have a brother jx2517 sewing machine and it works well for it. overall worth the money and you get a whole bunch of sizes in bulk.

The machine needles looked good, were smooth and had nice holders but the straight pins that were included, maybe randomly, were rough and terrible quality. I threw them all away.
