I'm one of those people who have the talent or ability to do this type of needlework. Kits like this/these can be rather expensive. The more detail, color, and size, the better I love it.

Challenging, colorful easy to understand instructions

I have been cross stitching for many years. I like Dimensions' subject matter and look forward to working this picture. I only wish Dimensions would provide the option of purchasing just the chart, not just in a kit. As an experienced stitcher I prefer smaller count fabrics for a smoother, more realistic result. In this case I am using 18 count Aida as opposed to the 14 count in the kit. As there are several complaints of stitchers running out of floss for this project, I have used a conversion chart (found on the internet) to switch from Dimensions to DMC floss. All of this costs extra money but suits my needs and wishes.I like all the variety in this picture and look forward to working it.

I find Dimensions Cross Stitch Kits enjoyable and relaxing to work on. I only gave 3 star for giftable because the majority of my friends or family do not know how to do needlepoint. I have given the completed ones I've done as gifts. I don't know if a beginner would know how to do back stitches or French knots. The finished work is beautiful. Dimensions offers a wide selection to choose from and I prefer the Counted Cross Stitch because all of the picture is needlepoint and not painted.

I received this kit as promised. I have not started yet. This is a counted cross stitch pattern, not stamped on the fabric. I prefer the non-printed kits.

Ok, so I will say I love the finished cross stitch, and I did enjoy doing it. The problem is that when it’s finished you realize it’s lopsided. It’s the weirdest thing. So I’m framing it, but had to get a smaller frame so I can fold it onto the board straight, which means I have to cut off part of the picture. I hope that makes sense.

Ho ricevuto il Kit in regalo da mio marito Luciano e purtroppo sono rimasta delusa dalla qualita' del filato che essendo in cotone mi si spezza in continuazione mentre ricamo, come se il filo avesse preso tanta umidita',guardando le indicazioni per ricamare ho visto la data del KIT: anno 2005.Ora chiedo a voi come si potrebbe rimediare a tutto cio' poiche' ho gia' iniziato il ricamo ma se continua a rompersi il filo non riusciro' neppure a terminarlo.Chissa' se Amazon puo' rimediare a questo spiacevole inconveniente.

This one is a complete challenge using different stitches and any number and mix of threads. Great fun.

Bought as a Christmas gift, I am sure it will be enjoyed
