YEARS OF USE OF THESE DURA-TREL TRELLISES WITH NO FADING, NO YELLOWING AND STILL STURDY
I've ordered various Dura-Treal Trellises for my various yards (moved several times) since about 2004. THEY DO NOT YELLOW OVER TIME and we live in the Central San Joaquin Valley of California where we have a long, very hot (105 +) summer. They also do not rust or fade. They are sturdy enough to hold substantial plantings and easy to clean if you use deciduous vines, for example. These trellises are simple to put together (once you figure out on this one which parts are which) as they basically go together with only a few final screws to hold the R and L sides together. On this one, using a drill, you can easily drill through the bottom metal anchors (once inserted) with an electric drill using the screws provided. The bottom anchors are this one are a plus - very sturdy, but I also secured this one with a couple of extra short posts in the ground and ties because of its height. This one will be used to hold this Springs plantings of climbing Armenian cucumbers. In the past, I've used them for climbing vines, Bouganvilla, climbing ivy, Jasmine and morning glories. They also have a Corner model I've used in the past, which is handy.

While this product was super easy to fit together
While this product was super easy to fit together, it was easier to do it intuitively based on the pictures instead of following the directions. It seems sturdy and I'll be installing it tomorrow with the anchors. It's helpful to do it on a flat surface like in a tile floor and to use a drill for the screws to speed up the process. I would have given it 5 stars had the directions been better, but if you can put a puzzle together, you can do it. Oh! And when I took everything out of the box, I organized everything by size and number of holes. That made finding the right pieces quickly. I bought one to try it out first, but I'm pretty sure after installation that I'll purchase a few more.4/22/18 Update. I just installed it and it seems pretty sturdy. I was really confused by the anchor screws because the anchors fit very tightly against the inside of the frame so the screws are too long to insert since the material of the frame is so thin. I decided to skip them since they wouldn't go all the way into the frame. I easily pounded the anchors into the ground with a rubber mallet, leaving them about 2 inches or so above the soil level and the trellis doesn't move much except at the top. I decided to tie the frame to the fence for a little extra support and to give the plants more to climb onto. So far I'm very pleased with this item. I was able to assemble and install it with no help. Having a drill and a rubber mallet made things a little easier. The trickiest part was lining up the anchors so that the frame went down easily over them. Other than that and the screws, it was pretty easy. I'm hoping the plants establish quickly before hurricane season to add extra stability to the trellis. Fingers crossed!

Today empty trellises, tomorrow juicy fruit!
I bought two of these to stand to the sides of the matching arbor in the picture, which really work well together. Since getting them all put together and set up (at which point this picture was taken) I planted musadine vines on the outsides of the arbor and behind the trellises...They're doing very well. The arbor and trellises are sturdy enough to hold the vines that are already winding up around the bars and I'm quite happy with the whole set up, I definitely recommend them.I put together the trellises by myself, but then my daughter aided with the arbor and my son-in-law did the installation, so it really wasn't a one-man (woman) project. The trellises would have been alone but the arbor is just too much for one person to handle I believe.

These trellises are great!
I'm a big fan of Dura-Trel, as anyone who looks at my home garden could easily attest. I have more than 20 trellises and arbors made by this company. They are durable and fairly easy to assemble. I'm a small female and I've managed to assemble and install all of them by myself, even arbors where the instructions say you need two helpers. (The key is to put up the two sides and then assemble the top piece in place, rather than building it on the ground and then lifting it up and placing it atop the two side pieces.)Of all the purchases I've made from Dura-Trel, I've had only one problem. I've never had a piece missing, but I did have one piece that was cut incorrectly. I contacted the company and they sent a replacement right away with no problem. Every other piece has been cut perfectly to fit.

Great trellis to complement our MCM porch railing
We planted passionfruit at the front of our new house to brighten it and mask the ugly exposed plumbing and wanted to find a trellis which complemented our railing which is the original mid-century mod one installed on the home. This Dura-Trel one was the best pre-fab fit we could find on the internet so we bought two- one for the passionfruit and one for a different area of the house. The vine is young, but the trellis is sturdy and was incredibly easy to assemble. Unless I update otherwise once the vine is large, consider this a glowing recommendation!Note: Another reviewer mentioned using a rubber mallet for anchor installation so I tried it with and without- it really does make a world of difference so pick one up if you don't already have one! (I have the 16oz Tekton with Fiberglass handle, also bought on Amazon, and it worked like a dream).

Easily assembled.
Very nice end result. Ground engagement are angle steel stakes slid up into the bottoms of end poles, but fasten in place (drill bit tip screws provided) before staking in ground. Easy to assemble. Not every trellis package I ordered (3) had glue for the top end caps. Trellis remains upright relatively straight, some support may be needed, depending your application. Looks as pictured in advertisement.
