I Love This Stuff! I've been working on a ground beef taco sauce for years and I think I finally nailed it.People have demanded that I do not lose or change this recipe, and I must say,they're the best ground beef tacos west of Texas.If you want to chance it, all of the ingredients are available on Amazon.1 to 1 1/4 lb lean (90% lean or higher) ground beef, browned and drained.While browning the meat, in a 1 cup measuring cup combine:1/2 cup of Frontera Gourmet Mexican Salsa Tomatillo (This contains Serrano Chile and Cilantro)5 tbls Barcelona Red Cooking Sauce.3 tbls Mole Verde Pipian Sauce.1 1/2 tbls McCormick taco seasoning (contains no MSG).1 1/2 tbls McFadden Farm Organic Mexican Herbs (powdered)In a medium, 2 quart saucepan, combine sauce with meatSlow simmer for 15-20 minutes covered, stirring often.Build tacos as you usually do.Makes 12 standard TacosEnjoy!

I initially thought that this sauce looked enough different from the Pipians I am sued to that I would not like it - perhaps too much cilantro (soapy) and the green color just looked off .... But once I tried the sauce I liked it a lot - a little spicy for some but I thought it just right. I would recommend the sauce, and will buy more soon.

Barcelona's Mole Verde is the best one can get outside of Oaxaca!
