Beware of the "Pro Kit"
I've had a Fluval 206 which was running in a turtle tank and I had recently ordered a shipment of media. Pump started running slow, so I decided to order another 206 because I like the product. In the meantime, I can figure out what is going on with old pump (maybe just the gasket). My 2 star deduction is for the "Pro Kit" designation for the filter. My pump came with all needed media, and the extra media is not Fluval materials and will likely go to waste. I would send it back for this reason, but I needed a new pump ASAP, so I will likely donate the extra media (ceramic bio tubes, activated charcoal, and bioballs) to a friend. Just get the regular 206, make sure you know what is included from the seller and you will be good to go.

Upgraded from a HOB filter to this. Ill never use another filter. This filter does an amazing job keeping my aquarium clean and my fish happy. This is much more eco friendly instead of throwing away filter media every few weeks.

This was a great purchase. The price is unbeatable! If you buy just the filter is $119.99, and when you add on the other items it comes with (4 sponges, carbon, bio rings, and bio balls) this kit should be prices at at least $150! buy this

Great value
Works as expected, most noise I have is from vibration, piece of no skid mat helps with that, wish there was a little more control over the output but works great.

Bundle Deception
This was a second filter for my 45 gallon cichlid aquarium, my other filter is a Fluval 306 and they both are awesome! However, the 206 came bundled with what I was expecting to be Fluval products, but they were SunSun and just by the looks of the packaging I would never put them anywhere near my aquarium for fear of poisoning my fish. As always, BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN BUYING ANYTHING FROM AMAZON!

Fantastic Filter!!! Works great on my 20 Gallon tank and, within about 3 hours of running, the water is crystal clear. Setup/Installation is simple.
