Great for my tiny puppy!
The media could not be loaded. 8 week old dachshund was scared of it at first. But now that he's comfortable in his new home (4 days in) I pulled this out and he absolutely loves it. His favorite toy right now is the claw (my hand) so it makes it tough to entertain him while working. I don't think a dog over 15-20lbs would be able to at with this though. It's think plastic Andi can see it breaking easy

5 minutes of fun
Dog not impressed. She found it annoying more than anything. The weasel came off shortly after a few days and we took it away from her because of the choke hazard with the beady eyes and the ball by itself is hard and too large for her to enjoy. I was envisioning a lot of laughter watching her play with it but it was a waste of money in our situation. 5 minutes of fun.

Great for dogs too
My dogs love this. I did remove the weasel as they’re puppies and would chew it. I’m sure it’s fine to leave on for cats and older dogs. This is great since it doesn’t get stuck. If it hits an obstacle it reverses and takes off again. I actually bought 3 more of these. 2 as gifts for friends pets and one as a back up for my dogs. The only down side I can see is that it does use batteries up quickly. I’ve used it about 4-5 times for maybe 30-45 minutes each time and I’m on my 3 rd battery. But if that’s not a problem and maybe you can use rechargeable batteries, then there’s nothing to stop you from buying this.

My dog loves this Weazel Ball toy
Amazingly fun toy for my bearded collie dog. She thinks she is herding it. Chases it all over the house. So cute. We do not let her chew on the ball as that might damage it. It is hard plastic, after all. We have bought many of them. The tails can disconnect, but the ball keeps on going. Even without the battery the ball will still react and move when pushed or kicked by the pup. Lots of fun with this toy. Play needs to be supervised though. I would not let her play with it without me watching her to make sure she doesn't chew on it.

Lame
Cat nor dog were interested. Just told back and fourth. It's just boring. Threw away.

Inconvenient and cheap, but good.
It's a Weazel Ball. As a child of the 90's, I knew basically what to expect in getting this.It rolls around as advertised, is battery-powered as advertised, and looks like the pictures in the listing's description. The packaging was sturdy enough to protect it from damage despite it being mildly crushed in transit. That's not really a problem, I've seen Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, so again, knew what to expect.I have small complaints, but they would not substantially influence my purchasing decision. The plastic tag-tie that holds the "Weazel" to the ball is easily broken by a small pet, so be prepared to replace that with some string. NBD, five minute fix.The battery is housed in a plastic compartment within the ball, the lid of which is secured with a screw. Somehow, the screw is a bit of a pain to remove. I've used multiple different drivers, and they all have the same difficulty with it, so, either I'm unskilled at removing screws (not impossible, but unlikely) or the screw/threaded hole itself isn't quite right. In addition, the battery doesn't last all that long, relatively. Within two days, I was replacing it. Batteries used were an Amazon Basics size AA. I'm not really disappointed, but given that I have to bust out a screwdriver to do the replacement, on top of the mild hassle that is the procedure itself, I would have really appreciated a method of securing the battery that didn't rely on a tool. It seems like a finger-twisted screw would have worked just fine, but, I'm no engineer. In terms of effectiveness, eh. I've seen other people's dogs go nuts over it. I've seen some be afraid of it. My doggo, just doesn't much care about it as intended. She DOES, however, absolutely LOVE the "Weazel" portion, after separating it from the ball, which she insists on doing even after multiple repairs. She destroys every toy she comes across, which is part of why I got this, because I know they can basically withstand being run over by a steamroller and be fine, other than the tie. The "Weazel" remains intact, despite very discourteous treatment.Overall: I'm satisfied.
