I suffer from painful cystic acne and I used this as the third step to my treatment. First for inflammatory purposes I applied cortisone, then sacylic acid, and finally benzoyl peroxide. This combination made it go away in two and a half weeks! I’m very pleased and would note that this treatment needs to be applied twice a day in that order on a clean face.

I read online that it's impossible for one type of acne cream to cure all acne, as it depends on the type of bacteria etc., but I'm definitely disappointed. :( I used it EVERYYY single day without fail for 3 entire weeks and there's hardly any change. I may continue to use it for another couple of weeks but people that had success with it said it only took a few days so I think it's tough luck for me.

I does seem to help, but over the course of a day or so, not "improves appearance within 2 hours" like it claims. Or at least, I've never observed that. However, I feel like that may be expecting too much anyway. It's a solid spot treatment acne cream.

This works ridiculously well for me. If I have a troublesome zit I see coming in at night, I smooth a little bit of this over it, and I wake up with the zit practically gone. It isn't true for every zit I get, some just have to run their course, but this has saved me from a lot of embarrassing breakouts. It definitely reduces redness and it's a small enough tube to where it's super easy to bring to school with me so I can reapply it in between classes every 2 hours.

The older formula was better, in my opinion.

The first tube I purchased from the drugstore. It was a clear moderately medium viscosity gel and would clear up a pimple overnight. Most times less than overnight. This cream is white, thicker and not nearly as effective. Seriously not. I won't be buying it online anymore.

I've been using this gel for a while. Sometimes it takes a few days for a pimple to go away (depends on your skin & tolerance) but I'd still say it's worth purchasing!
