Shockingly well made and far exceeds expectations.
The quality of and feel of this is similar to a TV remote control only with far better buttons that are perfect for its design. It is ergonomically exactly what I was looking for. I use my laptop to watch movies hooked up to my TV. This remote is perfect for controlling my laptop for that from across the living room or from the kitchen. In fact, its range is large enough that it works from everywhere in my house. I don't know the maximum but if you were needing to use this from across a reasonably large house-sized distance you should be fine. It's great for responding to emails and surfing the web. I wouldn't recommend it for doing any kind of professional office/design/programming type work on a computer though. I played a little GTA using it and it wasn't terrible but I found gaming to be a lot easier with either a gaming controller or a full-sized keyboard. The buttons are easy to press and feel a slight snap when you press them so you're never wondering if you pressed hard enough like you would on some remote controllers. It has a tiny Bluetooth USB connector (not the huge kind that are always a risk of getting hit and damaging the USB port). I leave it plugged in even when I stick my laptop in its case and it's perfectly safe. If you wanted to keep it with the keyboard, it tucks inside in a very secure storage slot built into the side. I have had it about a month and I have been using it a lot; mostly while surfing the web. It took about two weeks for the battery to die and I have only charged it once. Almost two weeks since and I'm still waiting for it to die a 2nd time. It also has a laser pointer if you use it for presentations. My dog has been thoroughly enjoying that. It goes to sleep on its own after not very long and reawakens with any button press. I think that's how the battery lasts so long. There is a power switch, but you only need to turn it off if you're sticking it in a bag or something and think the buttons are gonna be getting pressed. I never turn it off. The touch pad works as well as the one on a laptop does, but it's smaller so it can take a couple swipes to get the mouse across the computer screen. It has all of the keys a PC has, plus volume control, play, pause and some others. The scroll and pan arrow keys are great. Really I wish all keyboards had them. It also has a built in battery, so you just charge it with a USB cord. The instructions are pretty useless. It looks like an already poorly-written instruction manual was even more poorly translated from whatever original language to English. It's kind of funny actually and I've entertained friends by trying to guess what it was meant to say. Of all the Amazon purchases I've made both large and small and cheap and expensive, this is definitely the best value for its price I've ever gotten. It is shockingly well made and far exceeds expectations.

A great complement to the Raspberry Pi 2 computer.
A great complement to the Raspberry Pi 2 computer. I use two of the four USB ports, one for the keyboard dongle and the other for a WiFi dongle, leaving the other two for other projects. Some reviews say the keyboard goes into standby after only a coupe minutes of non use, to save battery I'm sure. Hitting the key with the "Light bulb" symbol at the upper left corner will instantly allow you to reconnect, rather than toggling the on/off switch. Use the switch to shut off the keyboard after your session to not deplete your battery too much. Recharge with the included USB charge cord after each major session, turning off the main switch of course. For the money it is an excellent addition to the Raspberry Pi 2.

Great for laptop control while its hooked up to a projector
I use it to control my laptop while I'm projecting movies. It dose what it's intended to do and does it well. I also purchased another for my brother in law and he loved it. If you have a laptop that you hook up to a projector and need a wireless keyboard mouse, this is the one to get. Just remember to charge it! When the battery is low the top left lights blink erratically as it does when it's its not connected, so charge it.

I bought this same item from another manufacturer and had to return it, but I haven't had any problems with this one. The only flaw is that it falls to sleep so quickly that you may as well just turn it off, meaning your ability to pause your video quickly is compromised. The charge lasts plenty long.

It arrived in a very short time and we liked it - perfect size and the keys have nice feel.We still cannot make it work. It was charging for hours, then we plugged the USB to the computer and nothing happens to the wireless keyboard or the mouse. We are getting the message on our computer that our "device is working properly", though.I ordered a different device but we are still troubleshooting this one

not worth it
Laser worked well, but the mouse and keyboard leave room for improvement. The connection was horrible and would not catch half the letters I would type and would have to start over. The mouse wasn't very sensitive either so I ended up using my wireless mouse anyway.Another inconvenience was trying to get the USB piece out of the device without damaging the product. Very frustrating. I am returning this due to the lack of productivity.

I have a few remote keyboards like this and most work fine
Hooked it to both an Mini Android PC and a Raspberry PI. The main issue with this remote is that it has an issue with staying on. I have a few remote keyboards like this and most work fine, this one seems to power itself off forcing you to toggle the on/off switch for it to connect to the device your using again.
